Alice Jules Coffee House — Restaurant in Monroe

I needed a quiet space to do some work so I found this place on Google. When I walked in, I was instantly greeted by the sweet staff. I didn’t know what I wanted but knew it needed to be apple, the staff recommended the Apple Chai. I’d never had chai before but let me tell you… It was amazing. I found a spot in the dining room in a corner to work. I stayed for about an hour and a half plugging away. The atmosphere was amazing and probably the best coffee shop atmosphere I’ve ever been to. I’m so grateful for this sweet family owned business. I didn’t grow up here (came here through my husbands job) but I’m SO THANKFUL for small businesses like this that treat their customers like family. Every person that came in was greeted and honestly the guy knew them by name. People are repeat customers because of the customer service and quality of products offered. We were heading to SC and decided to check out this coffee house. Omg, this coffee shop is adorable! The owner greeted us when I was taking pictures and walking in! He was very friendly and welcoming!

As I walked in, I was amazed with all of the Halloween and Fall decorations. I felt like a little kid! Kyle welcomed us, with a great big smile, when we got to the counter. He was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and awesome! I loved his energy and vibe! He helped me figure out what to order. Jordyn made our drinks which were DELICIOUS!!! She was so sweet, friendly and helpful!

I ordered a 16 oz hot Cousin Itt - salted caramel and white chocolate! My daughter ordered a 12 oz iced Matcha Latte. The only problem with the drinks were that we chose the wrong cup size as our drinks were out of this world delicious!! Next time we will definitely get the 20 oz!!! My husband, sister & I walked with our 2 dogs to Alice Jules the past couple mornings & we are so happy that we have discovered this coffee shop.

I love that they support other local businesses by selling those businesses pastries. I don’t go into a coffee shop expecting an iced spiced chai to be anything super special, but it’s delicious here! If you’re used to spending Starbucks money, then you will be shocked by how much more affordable this place is.

Most of all, I think that Kyle is an awesome person! While waiting for my drink to be made, I noticed how they recognized nearly everyone who came in & remembered their usual orders. They made sure that our dogs had clean water in the provided dog bowl on the patio. It was obvious that they genuinely cares about everyone having a good experience.
