JAMZ Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Monroe

JAMZ is the latest addition to Monroe's Main Street food scene. They bought all the recipes from Rocco's Deli, which was at this spot, while offering their spin on pizza, grinders, desserts, and deli meats. So good. The staff was super friendly and they now offer pizza-by-the-slice.

We were huge fans of Rocco's subs so we ordered a Vito to go. Loaded with freshly sliced meats, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers it is definitely a hoagie for two. And that roll. Mmmmm!

The best way to order ahead is to either scan a URL from the menu, or click a link from their website. I tried calling and the message directed me to these methods. I'm old school, however, and simply want someone to pick up the phone, lol.

JAMZ Pizza and Wings is a nice little place in downtown Monroe that replaced the Italian Market that was there before. They still sell some sliced meats and cheeses there too.

Pizza is a tasty thin style and the slices are 1/8 of a 16” for $3 for cheese or pepperoni. Specialty slices are $4. They have a couple of lunch specials as well.

No seating inside, other than a little spot to sit while you wait for your pizza, but there are 4 small tables outside with 2 seats each.

Staff were very helpful and nice! She said the gelato was locally made and very good, so will have to try that out next time! Definitely great to have a spot where you can grab a...

My husband and I decided to grab some pizza as we are huge pizza lovers. We were excited to try based on reviews. Atmosphere and service was fine but we knew the second we saw the pizza that it wasn’t going to be good. We ordered two slices. I don’t understand all the rav about this pizza? Like we are seriously so confused. It tasted like school cafeteria pizza? Where are all these reviews coming from? There’s no way that people think this pizza is great.
