Lindt Chocolate Shop — Restaurant in Monroe

I got visit here again for the first time in quite a while. I made two mixed bags of truffles. One bag of their classic truffles and one bag of the fancy European truffles because they were on sale. Here are the flavors I got....

European Roulettes Cookies - This one had a dark chocolate shell with cookies and a soft, dark chocolate interior. Believe me when I say this one is super dark and rich - loved it! Mozartkugeln Milk - This one has two soft layers and a hazelnut sandwiched between. This certainly has a very strong flavor of marzipan. There's also a hazelnut layer that's super delicious - I wish there were more of it! I'd probably skip this one next time. Doppio Latte - This one is a skinny rectangular shape. I have to the say that the latte flavor didn't really come through at all for me. In fact, it mostly reminded me of a Cadbury bar. Fioretto Cappuccino - This one had a crunch dark chocolate exterior and great coffee flavored and soft interior. So good! I will definitely get this one again! Almond Cremino - These are soft little truffles that have no hard shell. So be aware that they can melt easily! I didn't think the almond flavor came through - in fact, I thought it tasted more like hazelnut. But it was nice. Hazelnut Cremino - This one also doesn't have a shell. It basically tasted the same as the almond, but with a much stronger hazelnut flavor. Raspberry Vanilla - Woah! This is definitely a new favorite!!! Inside the chocolate shell are two layers - one of vanilla cream and one of a raspberry jam. It struck the perfect balance of tang, sweet and rich!

Classic Truffle Caramel Sea Salt - I remembered my husband being a fan of this flavor. But I have to say that while I thought it was nice, I didn't find it to have much of a salty sweet flavor and so it really didn't do it for me. Mangoes & Cream - So good! Perfect balance of cream to tang. Definitely will get again! Milk Orange - This one was just as balanced and awesome. I want more! Butter Pecan - This one was actually the freebie they had at the counter. I was happy to give it a try as I would never pick it out on my own. But it totally ended up being one of my favorites! It didn't have any actual pecans inside. Simply the creamy center that tasted like caramelized butter pecans!!! Cappuccino - This one is very forward on the flavor of white chocolate while the cappuccino flavor takes a back seat. So I definitely prefer the Fioretto.

Lovely chocolatieur as always!! Have been a fan of Lindt for many years now and visiting Lindt stores in premium outlets had been out family 'must-visit' store in the mall every time we are at a premium outlet be it in Canada or anywhere in US. We simply love the ambience in the store and especially their friendly staff and the complementary chocolate that we used to get just for visiting the store. Their bunny's are always hit among the younger ones in our family and not to forget the melt-in the mouth lindt chocolates with smooth chocoliquer in the center(Dark chocolate and caramel sea salt are my personal favourites) are exquisite as always. Their chocolates have just the right amount of sweetness for every flavour doesn't overwhelm or keep you craving for more. You can simply indulge in one smooth chocolate sitting on your porch/patio on a pleasant evening with some music and get teleported to your own space for some moments relishing that one sweet chocolate. Coming to this specific store visit in the premium outlets mall in Monroe ,Ohio : This is our first visit here . It's been a year since we visited any premium outlets mall due to some personal reasons and today I was pleasantly surprised to see the coffee/chocolate drink/ice cream bar in the Lindt store. Is this a new addition? Was it always there? Or was this not available in the premium outlets I have so far visited? I am not sure. But the senior gentleman that took the order, the ladies that were meticulously and quickly working on getting our icecreams/drinks ready for or orders just made the place more lively. Not only was their service excellent the drinks and ice creams were tasting so fresh and delicious 😋. Loved it!! Will be visiting soon again. Would love to see more of these cafes...

I did not have a good experience at Lindt. My family and I (we are Asian) were ignored and mistreated by the employees. When we walked in, we were not greeted/given samples like everyone else. The customers who walked in behind us 5 seconds later were greeted/given samples, and so were the customers behind them. When we were checking out, the cashier was not friendly to us, so we ended up deciding not to buy the chocolates even though we really love them and spent lots of time picking them out.
