Ordered fish sandwiches live 5 minutes away from the restaurant, when we got home the fish was ice cold & hard and the cheese was so dried up it didn't even melt onto the fish.. Plus there's only one lane open in the Drive-Thru so you have to wait in line sometimes as far back as the entrance to the parking lot, and all they have for an answer is that they don't have enough employees... Well it's funny cuz I know three different people that applied for jobs in Freeport and not one of them have ever received a call back to be hired.. if they're so desperate for people maybe they should just start hiring people that are willing to apply and willing to come in and work as they're desperate for money.. Two days ago I went to stop there for breakfast sandwiches on the south side of Freeport barely made it in the driveway there had to be at least 15 cars in front of me waiting through the one lane drive-thru again, luckily I was able to get around the cars and leave the parking lot went across the street to Wendy's and ordered breakfast sandwiches there.. I'm guessing that was a good thing because we had never had such a better breakfast sandwich than we did at Wendy's and from that point on will always order breakfast sandwiches from there at least we didn't have to wait through 20 cars at the end of...
Read morePeak of a busy lunch rush with a large birthday party in progress, so take any criticism with a grain of salt.
Food quality was on par if not above average for McDonalds. Orders were hot and customizations were accurate despite similar items with different options.
Only one person taking in-person orders, which caused a delay. I'm not a fan of kiosks, so I decided to wait. It seemed like the person taking orders was becoming frustrated but remained polite and efficient. Bonus points for being busy taking orders, receiving verbal instructions from who I assume was a supervisor or manager, assisting drive thru orders, and still finding time to assist people who have had their order taken.
While occasional tables had crumbs and evidence of use, the dining area was free of trash. Not as clean as I would have preferred, but not uncommon for a place at the tail end of lunch rush.
While our overall wait time was higher than one would expect from fast food, it could still be considered reasonable with the volume of orders they were...
Read moreA lot of people love to complain about McDonald’s, but this location is the best. I eat here very regularly and have been to MANY different locations and this one is the only one I’m ever happy with. While sometimes there’s bad times like soggy fries, it’s usually pretty good. Very clean restaraunt compared to others, always stocked, food is usually always fresh and tasty. Sometimes things aren’t correct but they do have a high turnover rate so it’s probably someone just new. Those who have been there a long time do very well at their job. Like I said, I’ve been to MANY McDonald’s after I went on a month road trip out west so I’ve seen many DIFFERENT ones that seemed the same with dirty bathrooms, dirty tables, disgusting drink area, very old food, completely wrong orders... but Monroe is hands down the best McDonald’s location. There’s always something to complain about, but trust me. Be thankful for this one. If there’s a problem, bring it up so they can fix it! they do address complaints and will nornally throw in...
