Good day folks,
My son who loves cars was so excited to visit this establishment today. To be fair we have had decent experiences before this one. But, I digress. It was one, this military family will not soon forget.
It started with walking in waiting for a table (not a problem) however it became a problem when two larger groups entered and were sat before us. Again, maybe it was a simple mistake/miscommunication by staff, this can be overlooked. But, once we were seated, we got our drinks rather quickly but then we waited. I looked around saw a decent crowd, on a Sunday for football-but about 30 minutes of waiting in (again somewhat normal, so no biggie) I noticed there was literally no food at any of the tables (other than one that had soup, which from my restaurant work experience is done by the server). 1 hour in, those folks have finished their soup and no other food is being served. At this point I know something is wrong, thinking maybe the cook(s) walked out or there is an electrical problem in the kitchen. But no communication, by the staff. So another half hour goes by, at this point we are giving 10 minutes and we will walk out (we didn’t tell the staff this, but amongst my wife and I we decided). Right when the time is up, I’m standing ready to go, all sorts of food comes out at once. And when we get our food, fries are cold. Oh yeah, no apology no explanation, just I guess the norm? Burger toppings luke warm. My kids pizzas burnt. And let’s be real, this is not meant to be gourmet food, but, sports bar level. This was much worse than that, and our buns were stale. We quickly eat, in 20 minutes and ask for the check. Again no explanation, no comped items, and they don’t have a military discount (which normally doesn’t bug me, but after this service…)
My son was planning his birthday party to be there and my daughter as well. After today both plans were scrapped by them, we won’t soon forget this day.

Read moreThe waitresses are super nice and knowledgeable, and there are decent vegan options! The pizza is vegan as long as you ask for it without cheese, and they have the Beyond vegan burger! (you just have to ask directly for the Beyond burger because it is not printed on the menu)
Both times I went there, I needed to ask my usual "Does this contain dairy/eggs/meat in this?" questions
The first time I was asking in regards to the pizza, which the waitress stopped me and asked me if I was vegan based on the types of questions I was asking... It turns out, she was vegan too, and was kind enough to offer to make me a special veggie pizza (the kind she says she personally enjoys) ...I have never had a waitress or waiter be so observant and attentive to detail to notice my situation based off of just a few short questions... Wonderful!
The second time (last Sunday) I ordered a pizza with no cheese and several veggie toppings, and the waitress (a different person from before) inferred that I might be vegan from my order, so she stopped me and let me know that the Beyond burger was available, and so I ordered that instead of pizza... It was delightful! I would never expect anyone to be able to guess that I was vegan and offer additional help simply from chatting for a few moments...
Those two are amazing at their jobs and go above and beyond for customers... I am very disappointed in myself that I did not their names, but if I do, I will update the review to thank...
Read moreI've been eating here for years, and I've always liked it. The food is always great & the service has always been great too. It's been a while since I've been here. I met with a friend for dinner & I was bragging how great the ribeye Calzone was & that I always order it when I eat here. So I ordered the large for the table. I was a little disappointed that they changed the toppings in the Calzone. I don't recall it ever having pepperoni in it. The original ribeye calzone was much better. This one was good. It just wasn't what I wanted. There was barely any ribeye in it & it was more like a pepperoni pizza Calzone. Tbh, if we wanted a pizza. We would have ordered a pizza because the table next to us had pizzas & they looked great. Plus, you can order whatever rounds you want on it. I said something to the waitress about there being pepperoni in it & she said that's how they come, but it can be ordered with any toppings in it. I looked at the menu again & I didn't see where it said you can order it with any toppings or as any specialty pizza. I would suggest bringing the original one back as it was phenomenal! Maybe make a chicken one & a Philly steak & cheese one. Either way, I'll be...
