My review is currently based on a terrible first experience and a positive second experience. 50/50. I will update as needed as I do plan to return. I have received no response from the survey provided, no response from the email I sent. My first visit was a disaster. I placed my order via the app and followed the instructions provided by the app. My two sons and I stood there for a good 15 minutes after our order was supposed to be ready. We were never acknowledged by any staff members. There was a long line, it was almost outside the door. It was our first time so I was just trying to be respectful understanding if they’re in a “rush,” I would get our pizzas when they were ready. A third party delivery driver walked in and interrupted the cashier during a transaction saying she was there to pick up an order. She was given the order immediately from a warmer box under the counter. I hadn’t seen any pizzas placed in the warmer while standing there observing their operation and watching the make line do their thing. Being a previous manager myself at ZPizza, I was intrigued. I immediately inquired about our order stating we had clearly been standing there for 20 minutes. The cashier asked my name, grabbed our pizzas from the warmer and handed them to me without a word as she resumed her duties as cashier with the next customer. I ordered three 10” pies. One cheese, one pepperoni, one meat. My meat pizza had all meats on the menu, not just the ones listed on the specialty pizza. $30 for a bad experience, incorrect food and rude staff.
Fast forward, I was awarded an incentive based coupon in the app for a free pizza after placing that order. I placed it a day in advance for pick up before the UGA vs. GT game. My pizza wasn’t ready when I arrived at the designated pick up time, but more importantly to me after my first visit, I was greeted and acknowledged immediately after I stood in the pick up area. I was already going to flag someone down lol. My issue with this visit is it was the same cashier from my first visit, the line was just as long. That tells me the problem may have been addressed with the staff but not with the guest that took the time to help a business...
Read moreI want to give them a second chance, but was not happy with our 1st visit. We went on a busy Friday night, and I appreciate how the flow of customers works! Even though the line was long, there always seemed to be an open table for the next party when they placed their order.
My wife and I ordered 1 pie (the nat) which was very good. We also order a salad each.
The salads. Nope. We started on the line and had to correct the line servers twice. The pie AND two bowls made for some confusion apparently. We told One Greek, One Caesar. They had to keep asking us "which one?" Silently I was grateful I decided against my usual build your own bc we might have had even more issues. We stayed good natured even when the Caesar started and became the Greek. I gently reminded, and flustered the server, so just told her to finish it as the Greek and just restart the other as the Caesar.
Now, I understand that ingredients are measured out. But my wife's bowl of lettuce had a sprinkling of feta (she had to ask for more), a few rings of onion, a few banana peppers and a toss of dressing. The Caesar was even worse. I won't go into detail how mad I was to have to fight (repeatedly asking for ingredients). Let's just say I'll never pay that much for a bowl of lettuce only again.
To quote my wife's Yelp: "Service...the staff is young and some could be called inexperienced. It may be a first job for a few. I am not rude. They were nice, smiled, and greeted. Good customer service, but the assembly line is going to need to get some more practice. Again, busy Friday and we weren't in a rush. Not upset. I will tell you that the bus staff was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to support the tables. They earned their night. Assembly crew needs some training and if the salads keep at that level, it isn't worth a return for this reviewer. Just not sure other people will have the same patience. There are two other pizza restaurants on the square with salads. We will try Your Pie again. Just not anytime soon."
I avoid leaving bad reviews anywhere, but when I do, I'm as detailed as possible in hopes the management can make...
Read moreI hate to be the one person who leaves that first 1 star review but clearly they don’t take the current world situation seriously, so I am.
I used the app and picked curbside pickup but all the spaces were taken up by dine-in customers, so I parked and walked in. I would have preferred to cook at home but we wanted to support local businesses.. but walking inside was not what I had planned. When I got to the counter I found out that “for, like, some reason, like, your ticket didn’t, like, print”. They said they’d do it right away but 5 minutes later a manager came over to tell me that it didn’t print as well. I showed her the app that showed the completed order and she looked very surprised. For the second time I was told that it would be done right away. Honestly, I don’t care about some extra feee pizzas. At this point I just want to get out because an employee was hacking into her shirt, a customer dinning in was coughing. Finally the order was done and for the first time I decided to check it. Good thing.. 3 pizzas, one for Kevin, another for Kevin, and last one for Julie H. Just great... someone else’s pizza. Without a word a guy standing around the side cuts a pizza and brings it over. Thankfully it was the right one... now I can finally leave a restaurant I didn’t want to enter to begin with. I’m not paranoid. I just want to be out and to keep my family safe. This transaction was not smooth at all, not remotely “safe” and pretty much a mess every step of the way. I’ll be sure to pass those 2 free pizzas on to someone else. Thanks for not remotely caring that you messed every possible thing up (and coughing... a lot... and no, that wasn’t a...
