I have been going to panda for years and rarely have a bad experience. Today was one of those days. I asked for my usual plate with double meat. I have ordered the same thing for years. The worker, Hispanic gentleman, slices up one piece of meat and closes my to-go box. I stopped him and reiterated that I had requested double meat. He insisted that he, indeed, gave me a double portion. I told him that it was not a double portion and that I have been eating Panda for years and have never had an issue with portion size. He then points to one of the corner sections on the styrofoam to-go box and says that the meat there was a double portion. He also let me know that he had been working at Panda for years and that he was fully aware of what a double portion was. He then had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to purchase a triple portion to get more meat. Really, Bro!? No, I don’t want to purchase a triple portion, I want the double portion that I had first asked for. I guess the concept of the customer always being right is non-existent anymore. They forgot part of my order after realizing this I called to ask them to please deliver the missing item or please give me back my money. The guy over the phone at 5 pm offered to deliver it after I asked for a refund then quickly hung up he never asked for my name or address so I had to call back which I did and asked him do you need my name and address I just spoke to you and you said you would deliver my missing item and he then completely changed what he said and proceeded to tell me no to delivery which is fine I would like my refund then he tells me no it has to be today to get refund which I am unable to leave my home today so I offered to have my husband come down tomorrow with his credit card and get the refund and he refused to give me my money back insisting it had to be today. Very poor customer service and the guy here lies to customers and made no effort to fix there mistake I do not recommend this establishment to anyone and I will no longer order...
Read moreI've ordered takeout from Panda Express two times in the past month, both times my order was a mess and customer service completely absent. On both occasions, my order was not prepared correctly and I was missing items, during the first order I had to wait more than 40 minutes without any communication from the staff.
The first time, I discussed the matter with the store manager and the manager told me he cannot do much to make things right except give me a complimentary meal in future. My direct question to him was: "what are you going to do to prevent this from happening again?". At that time an employee by the name Sahara tried to defend the incompetence and lack of communication from her colleague Becky by raising her voice at me. To make matters worse they thought it a good idea to laugh at me getting irate at the situation.
Today was the last straw, instead of opening a container of mushroom chicken when I got home I'm looking at fried rice. This was packed by the same Sahara and Becky of my first visit. Is this how you repay someone giving you a second chance at...
