9/15/2015 12:45pm. I should have read the reviews before stopping in. We just came in for Coffee and sweet's. Cost $17.00 + and she asked for a tip??? . If she would have been helpful, made eye contact or smiled, I would have considered it. We got a cinnamon bun and chocolate croissant. Both were not heated , hard and stale. The knife given to us couldn't even cut it. It was so slale that eating it with our hands, it was so dry and hard to bite. I ordered Cappuccino. The front cashier female said to pickup at the next area. My partner ordered plain coffee but failed to tell him where to get the coffee. A random kid with his mother said he saw the coffee bar . He went to pour his coffee but the pot was empty. We choose this place after I had minor surgery and released from the local hospital. The eatery was not even a quarter of the way full so being too busy wasn't an option for a good lie. The service was lousy and it seemed as though we were more than a bother than a customer. We choose this place because of the location and name recognition however if this is the quality of service in this chain, we instantly decided never to go to Panera Bread again. It's highly disappointing and will never patronize them again. This place is a "one and done"! There are so many other establishments to choose from. Save you money and don't waste...
Read moreI’ve ordered the egg white, avocado and spinach breakfast sandwich several mornings a week for about 6 months, or from whenever they remodeled. I switch the egg white for an over-easy egg. I can count the number of times it’s been made properly on one hand. Most of the time there’s no egg. Sometimes the yolk is hard and 2 times the egg was dried and shriveled up. One time they made it on a sprouted grain roll instead of a sprouted grain flat bagel. I guess they ran out and forgot to ask me about a different option. If you order through the kiosk it doesn’t print you a receipt, so you have no way of checking your order. If I order at the counter the receipt says “no egg white” but doesn’t list the over-easy egg substitute. You can’t order breakfast on the kiosk after 10:30 AM even though you can order breakfast until 11:00 AM. Btw, if you go after 10 AM, the big corporate lunch orders take priority. Plan on waiting 10-15 minutes for your breakfast sandwich, and then even longer if it needs remade. The male manager is always apologetic , friendly and accommodating. The one female manager always looks miserable, never smiles and never apologizes. Never order any if the Bowls. For almost $10 they fill it up half way with mostly broth. Im very disappointed in the “new” Panera and stopped going on a regular...
Read moreI hate to do this, but we as a people have to explain this to none minority individuals. I simply ordered a salad and a sandwhich for my father and I. I am 52 and he's 80 years old. The food is fantastic!! However I am referring to my interaction with a person at the pickup station. As a minority and 52 year old man I expect respect in regards to a transactional experiance. We as minority men HATE when none minorities make assumptions about who we are. My transaction is as follows; My name is called. I left my first name. In recieving my food from the person behind the counter. They said in some hip hop gangster vanaculer, " Here you go man. Here's your food man" I was immediately offended. People have try to understand this is a place of business. I paid for the food. TRANSACTION! I AM ALSO 52! I am from Penn Hills from long ago. The younger person behind the counter does not know me. Use my first name or sir. It's a respect thing. I have lived a lot of life and never been sensative in this manner. It's not just that person it happens alot. We are people who deserve respect. How many times do none minorities expect us to deal with that nonesense before we call it out. I normally do, luckily I was in hurry. Teach your children...
