Giving this place a 3 right now. I think it's still a new and growing place, so grace is given and I think they will improve. The food is delicious. I've been a few times for dinner and it's always good. Went to experience brunch. The concept is there, great vibes, good music and a good price for all the comes with it. Excellent food as well. I just want to see them polish up on the customer service and the wait time. I know the owner is the chef and she throws down, but to sustain and grow, I think they should expand the kitchen staff but also the wait staff.
We went for brunch and it says wait to be seated but it took over 10 minutes for someone to greet us while we waited. Not the biggest of deals because the whole party hadn't arrived but when my friend was finally greeted, she said the woman greeting her had an attitude. When I arrived (it was my reservation) most of the party was there but we were still standing for a bit before anyone came back to sit us. So I think an easy fix for that would to have a hostess on staff for brunch.
Also for brunch, pretty much every employee seemed to be a teenager, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but these kids should be getting trained on customer service as well and I want to see them enjoy themselves. They all looked very sad. Our server was so sweet, very polite young lady but I could tell she was stressed and she didn't smile not once. She apologized for our checks taking so long to get to us and I told that baby to take a deep breath. Her and the rest of the staff seemed overwhelmed, including the owner. This is a completely different vibe you get from staff during the week for dinner. Although there is usually a wait for food, the staff seemed good and happy.
All in all, I will continue to support this business and believe everyone should because it has a lot of potential, I just hope the owner knows she's doing a good job, but just needs to polish up some of the service. I think it will all come together in time, so when visiting, please be...
Read moreMy God,my mother's day brunch experience was the worst I ever been apart of.i don't even know where to begin with the craziness I seen.first my mother and I got there at 2 because that's the time they said they were serving.they wouldn't let us in and told us we had to wait.over a half hour later we see the door open so we go in.there is no hostess at the front door and we literally had to stop a lady running back and forth from the kitchen to the dining area to see what was going on.we get seated finally and they have us at this big round table where we are literally yelling to each other trying to talk over the music playing.we get up to go get food and there all kinds of people around and only 2 people serving food.mind you I was told this was a buffet and I'm pretty sure at a buffet food isn't being rationed out to people.after 10 minutes of waiting we were finally next to be served and a random lady approached us and told us they ran out of food and we had to go sit back down and wait even longer.we were so frustrated and hungry that we got our money back and took our business elsewhere.did I forget to mention that was 50 dollars a head in there and we had to pay up front before even getting there?if XIA is a real person then they should be hanging their head in shame!I can't even tell you food was good cause all we got was a whiff and that was with us being there for over an hour.if this was just a take out joint I could understand but there was zero organization with people waiting just to eat.this is just my opinion obviously but if u plan on sticking around and not going under, your customer service has got to be way better then what I seen cause if you are running a restaurant and your have bad customer service, most people arent gonna care how good...
Read moreUpdate to their response: You guys do not advertise as "complimentary drinks" on your flyer that you promote it says "unlimited". Changingup the wording once people arrive is very misleading. And we were there for over 2 hours (and not everyone who ordered drinks even had 3). If there is such a limit then that should be stated in your advertisement because that was the entire reason for choosing your restaurant. And if the owner was unable to come speak to us then the waitress could have said that instead of leaving us waiting. Orignal review: This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I didn't have a great dining experience. We came there to have brunch for my friend's birthday and the customer service wasn't great. The main issues I had was that they advertised that they offered unlimited mimosas and sangria (which was the only reason my friend chose this place for her birthday and the only reason we could justify paying $40 for this brunch) but once we started ordering we noticed that each time they brought out our drinks the mimosas were tasting more and more watered down to the point of just tasting like orange juice. We brought it up to the waitress and she took the drinks back and told us that they ran out of champagne and was getting more. She also then told us that we couldn't order anymore drinks because they were "complimentary" and not "unlimited" although it was advertised as unlimited. She said we could only have 3 drinks. The waitress argued with us about this and said we were taking her time away from helping other people so We asked for the owner but we left after waiting for over 10 minutes for her...
