Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Mont Belvieu

To the store in Mont Belvieu: What an absolutely terrible experience. We had a free pizza in our account, but the manager on duty didn't know how to redeem it. We paid for the pizza instead of getting the free pizza. When the pizza came out, we took a look and noticed that one of the pizzas had hardly any toppings. When we mentioned this to the young lady behind the counter, she said that it was normal. We pointed out that we paid for bacon on the pizza and there was just a couple of specks of it across the entire pizza. The young lady said that their bacon is more of a garnish and not really a topping. We paid for a topping and when we pointed out that we weren't getting what we paid for, the staff starts playing word games with terminology? We also paid for extra garlic dipping sauce, and when we got home, we found that the 2 tubs we paid for were not sealed and had leaked butter all over our kitchen floor. Instead of enjoying hot, fresh pizza, we ended up cleaning grout lines for 30 minutes. This store is close to our house, but in the future, I will happily drive several miles past it to get our food. I never leave bad reviews, esp in the food industry, but I’m pretty frustrated. I got hung up on twice while placing my order; you cannot call this actual location, it is a call center, so good luck with the ordering process. After my order was placed there was an issue w/setting it up for delivery, as he placed it for pick up; then I got hung up on again. Every time you call back you will get a different person at the call center, so you have to start from square one. At this point I’m over 20 min in, and I know my pizzas haven’t even been started on. I’m not sure if my order was placed or not so I drove up to the store asked if it was in the system. The unfriendly staff checked & confirmed I’d have to wait another 45 min. At this point I canceled altogether. This was my first time (attempting) to order from this location. I do help management sees this review because we are local and would love for this...

Our grandson was so excited to get Papa Johns Pizza tonight. He wanted thin crust pepperoni with Alfredo sauce. They were out of Alfredo sauce at 5:00pm. So asked for red pizza sauce. Must have almost been out of it too. Very skimpy on red sauce and cheese. We had heard they didn’t cook their pizza enough, believe me, ours was cooked VERY well.
