So, I was doing doordash. I've been to this McDonald's once before and had no issues. Tonight, however, was probably my worst dash order to date. I received two dash orders from this location at about 10:30PM. I got there about 5 minutes later. The lobby was closed which forced everyone to go through the drive thru. The drive thru was about 10+ cars long. As I'm sitting there in the seemingly motionless drive thru, I see an employee come out with food for people who ordered on the McDonald's app. Meanwhile, still no movement in the drive thru. When I near the window, I can tell something is not right. No one came to the windows (the guy in front of me was yelling at the guys inside that he wanted to speak to the manager). When I get to the window the guys inside kept saying that they were closed. I tried to tell them that I was with doordash but they ignored me. It's pretty messed up that they would make all those people who got there before they closed waste their time and gas (myself included) and the two orders I had wait 45 minutes only to get a phone call from me to tell them that I couldn't get their food because this...
Read moreTwo words McDonalds: Quality Control. I don't know why it's so tough to take the extra 10 seconds to verify an order is correct. Almost every time we go there the order is incorrect. Pancakes without syrup, check. Chicken nuggets without sauce, check. Incomplete orders, check. What's even better is when you call in to a manager to alert them of the oversight; they are rude and dismissive. I was literally told the other day "we don't make mistakes" and "how do I really know it's not in there". Really? Apparently I enjoyed the first 30 minutes sitting in the drive thru so much; I thought I'd make up an excuse to drive back there to spend another 30 minutes, just so I could screw you out of a .10 apple pie. When you do sit there and look through the bags to verify; you get dirty looks from inside for holding up the line. Come on McDonalds; COVID is no longer an excuse for substandard service. The service here was next to none, we walked inside and waited in line behind one other customer, whose order they took and delivered so naturally we would be up next, right? Well apparently not, we stood there for 10 minutes while the young ladies filled orders from the drive through and merely looked at us time to time, knowing deep down that we still hadn't ordered. May i add that all the employees were in there own street clothes which seems pretty tacky, even for a mcdonald's.. Eventually we decided to just go through the drive through and the young man who took our order did a good job and when i got to the window to pay, the girl smirked like she thought it was funny that we came to the drive through...
