Stopped in to grab lunch while attending the skijoring event in Big Sky. Nobody there to greet you, after finding a wiped off with a dirty rag table and figuring out that I have to go to counter and order. Ordered a small pizza and salad, paid and got fleeced for a tip at the point of purchase(it's in very bad taste to ask for a tip before experiencing the service or tasting the food, and as I realized later in my experience I'm to bus my own table.......what is the tip for.......paying more for overpriced pizza in a ski town). The person who took my order was nice and explained that it would be 25 minutes for a pie. After about 40 minutes we asked person we placed order with about our pizza, he said it would be just a few more minutes, after ten minutes my wife headed to the counter to ask for our money back and while she was waiting at the unmanned bar and counter our pizza arrived. The pizza was bad, overcooked(burned black on the bottom and a thin doughy crust on top. Now I don't want the blame to go to the worker who was there working the front(Bar, register, service, host) he was busy and claimed to only have one person in the back. The blame goes to the owner/manager of this place! You can afford to put your pizza place in locations like Big Sky and Jackson Hole, but you put out a sub par product and terribly understaffed service! I live in Big Sky and work in the service industry and will never return to this terrible place, save you money(and time) walk across the street to Roxy's market and get a frozen pizza, it will taste better out of the box than what you get at PINKY'Gs. Terrible Pizza, even...
Read moreWent on a Saturday night, mind you it's covid and slow season for bigsky but still......went inside to four guys chilling without masks-wasent greeted at all. Asked if they were open still and if the enforce masks (we were wearing ours) - staff replied yes while wearing their around their chins like straps- Got drinks and ordered food- the food was good! Nice pizza- the drinks are strong but placed in glasses as large as my calf and half filled. The guy making our pizza walked out to the bar mid way with his gloves on, touched his phone and proceeded to rub the bar top table for a few minutes, never changed his gloves and then went back to making food. Asked for a box- never got it. Too busy with the bros hanging out and two children running around the kitchen. Asked again and then gave me a box...a used and dirty pizza box.... Brought up to their attention they apologize and then gave me a box for a super huge pizza...for four slices...watched them then kick a few guys out who had recently ordered alcohol because they were closing at 10. They proceeded to drink the rest of their drinks outside of the establishment at the request of the crew. Which is illegal...good notes- good pizza strong drinks and good choice of music- but also turned on your music a hair I was screaming at my date...
Read moreI am not one to leave reviews, but I have started a 3 strike rule and your out. I have ordered the same pie 3 times in the last month, which was the Powder Hound Shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta, fresh chopped basil on garlic infused olive oil base 12″……..$23 / 18″…..$30...
I have asked at each order for heavy toppings because they always skimp on them or just don't put on the Toppings that come with the pie. So as of today (3rd Strike) they seem to not want to put the Ricotta,Parmesan and the Basil on anymore, as the last 3 orders have had none of the toppings that are supposed to be on the Pie. So basically they are charging me $23-$30 for a Cheese Pizza. Management Could you please uptrain your Staff on how to make the House Pies correctly. This is a good standard to apply to your SOP for a Buisness. Thanks Jay...
