Food: I only tried the ice cream. The strawberry is my favorite. Not too sweet. There is no strawberry piece in the ice cream. Next choice would be the mocha almond fudge. It has actual almond and a hint of mocha flavor. The vanilla taste like vanilla. It taste safe. Can't go wrong with it. I'm not a fan of the pistachio flavor. There was also mint and chocolate flavor. The homemade waffle is worth getting the ice cream in.
Service: The guy that was scooping the ice cream was really nice. He let us try the flavors. The scoops were also very generous. All the workers wear these ugly bright green shirts. The hats seem mandatory also.
Price: It is expensive. Each ice cream cone cost about $8.50. You get 2 flavors.
Ambience: There are outside settings. Has a cafe picnic vibe on the outside. The flowers are also a nice touch. There are also seats indoor. The smell of bakery and sweets...
Read moreI very much enjoyed your ice cream and if it hadn't been for the increliably rude staff I would have enjoyed the whole experience. My family of 8 and I walked into an almost empty store and as we decided what we wanted we were rudely pushed by the staff to hurry up, and during our order it got worse. The young girl with straight black hair in a pony tail working on August 7th at 6pm very insistently pushed my mother in law through her order and continuously rolled her eyes at our responses. After we paid $44 hard earned dollars at your establishment I informed the woman in the white apron about our concern with the staff and she seemingly brushed it off with no concern, and as we watched her tell the incredibly rude girl what we said from the table outside. Again she rolled her eyes. at us. The whole experience was unnecessary and we...
Read moreMy family and I needed breakfast after our long drive from the Central Valley. We needed a place that had outdoor seating because of our dog. Austino's Patisserie had what we were looking for.
Our breakfast for 4 was nearly $40, but what we got wasn't really worth that. The portions were small, and my omelette was basically a piece of sausage wrapped in an egg. The veggie omelette and sandwich were a much better deal. I wish mine came with some sort of vegetable for the price of nearly $10.
It's by the Monterey Bay Aquarium, so I guess rent must be high, or they can charge those prices.
Perhaps their pastries and lunch options are better. But I wouldn't come back here for breakfast unless I...
