Indian summer — Restaurant in Monterey

Came to this place two nights ago with friends to relax and have a good time. We waited a couple minutes and the guy that was being the bartender in the server didn't even greet us. He didn't even give us the menu to he did say you can sit wherever you want to sit. He was already had just gotten off the phone we asked about beer taps and we house we'd like to have some beer on tap they had none available any claims distributor did not bring any beer that day. When we showed up it was completely dead at the hookah lounge. We had to ask him several times to turn down the music he was blasting some India music which I kind of found a little irritating and it was also high pitch. He gets us our drinks but he messes up her orders he didn't mix the cocktail right and he did not mix the margarita. We ordered a few dishes of food and they got completely screwed up we never ordered lamb we ordered butter chicken the naan bread was dried out and cold it wasn't hot. We'd asked him about the spice for the food and he said oh it's a mild it was actually medium. After while his other co-worker is making the hookahs he could not get off the phone and had it on speaker we could hear everything. The bartender never picked up the phone it was constantly ringing I don't know why this guy from India restaurant in the barnyard bought this place in the first place. Yeah the food is okay but it doesn't have that wow Factor. Neither of those guys ask to see our IDs but we are all over 21. I'm definitely not going to be coming back on Thursdays when these two...

I recently visited this place with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The biryani was the worst I've ever had. It was bland, lacked the authentic flavors, and the rice was overcooked and seemed like a masala sambar rice. To make matters worse, the chicken pieces were dry and tasteless.

The customer service was equally disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested and inattentive. When we asked for assistance, the response was rude and unhelpful. Shockingly, even the waiter tasted the food and admitted he didn't like it. We couldn't eat more than a spoonful and left the full plate of food untouched, yet we were still charged the full amount.

Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Indian food or decent service. Worst place and...

My boyfriend and I and with some friends we went to eat at this place yesterday after I attended a show at their venue. The food was okay, but the customer service was poor. They took forever to take our order, and the lady didn't even bother taking it. Until this guy came in to take our order, and he also took forever to take my friend's order, or didn't even bother asking her if she wanted to order it. Our food came out late. To make matters worse, they charged us for a Jack Daniel's drink that we didn't even order, and we weren't even of legal drinking age.
