In the ever-expanding world of fast-casual dining, where buzz and branding often overshadow substance, I found myself at the newly opened Raising Cane’s in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania—curious to uncover what has sent crowds swarming like seagulls over a dropped crinkle fry. Let’s start with the food, the supposed star of the show. The chicken fingers are, well, fine. Lightly breaded, decently juicy, with a signature Cane’s sauce that leans heavily on tangy mayo-meets-pepper flair. But beyond that? It’s a one-note experience. No variety, no standout seasoning, no sides worth writing home about unless you’re particularly sentimental about soggy Texas toast. The coleslaw? A forgettable afterthought. The fries? Standard-issue. Inside, the dining room is cramped—minimal seating that feels more like a holding pen than a place to enjoy a meal. If you were hoping to escape the chaos of the drive-thru and actually savor your chicken in peace, good luck. And speaking of chaos: the parking lot. Congested, awkwardly designed, and clearly not prepared for the level of traffic this place has drawn since opening. In the end, Raising Cane’s in Montgomeryville serves up an aggressively average product wrapped in a frenzy of fanfare. It’s fast food chicken fingers done reasonably well, but certainly not worthy of the pilgrimage some seem eager to make. If you’re already in the lot, sure—give it a go. But if you’re driving out of your way, you may want to keep going… until you find something a little more deserving of the hype.

We only tried it because it was new and super mixed reviews. I will warn everyone, do not waste your time, money and calories on this place. Maybe it's growing pains, I don't know but this was not worth consuming. In fact we barely did. We used the drive thru, staff was friendly but it took 10 minutes to receive. What is pictured cost $19. Yikes. The food was piping hot so we knew it was fresh however you can even tell from the picture nothing was cooked long enough. The chicken was chewy and undercooked along with no flavor. The fries were also undercooked with no seasoning. The coleslaw was tasteless and the bread (not pictured) was soggy and squished. The sauce was good. But once we realized the chicken wasn't cooked we stopped. Stomach ache to follow later. I don't think I would try this place again and heed any warning to someone wanting to try this fast food place. Very expensive for tasteless uncooked food.

I really don’t like leaving 1-star reviews — I almost never do — but my experience at Raising Cane’s last month was genuinely awful. It was a busy night, and I waited quite a while for my food. I could tell the kitchen was rushing to get orders out, but I wish they had slowed down, because a few hours after eating, I got violently sick.

It started with sharp stomach pain and quickly turned into nonstop vomiting, diarrhea, chills, and sweating that went on for nearly two days. I could barely stand up or keep anything down. It was one of the most painful and uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m completely certain it was food poisoning.

I strongly urge management to take a serious look at food handling and cooking procedures, because this should never happen to anyone. The food itself wasn’t even that good — definitely not worth what I went through. Honestly, just thinking about Raising Cane’s now makes my stomach turn. Eat here at...

I can't believe there's somewhere that actually provides great customer service ! Me and my son went there for the first time, they gave us a "new customer" discount, 1.50 off the total. They were actually smiling, and literally working they're butts off ! That place is packed all the time and now I know why, the chicken is over the top DELICIOUS! words just can't describe just how delicious it is, its hands down, better than any chicken joint around. It's clean, with a happy vibe, I hope the employees stay as wonderful as they are!! Great work, with a smile, and very welcoming! Awesome cooks! They definitely know what they're doing back there! And they do it flawlessly! Clean store too, and read all the clips on the walls, they're awesome ! I'm so glad they're here! I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING HERE, pricy, but so is everything these days, but this place is DEFINITELY worth it! 😋 I'm so happy we went there. And we will...
