TLDR: This place is great; I highly recommend the burger. My pastor is taking me on a journey through Montgomery restaurants, and he said this was the best burger in Montgomery. I was skeptical because when I looked online, the pictures were just of a thick burger with nothing special. Normally, I go for a Smashburger or something with a few more toppings. I was wrong. It was the best burger that I've had since coming to Montgomery. I got it dressed all the way without mustard. The ladies working at the counter were wonderful and not surprising. This place is cash only. When you look to your left, walking in, you see nothing but a person smashing patties. The two flat tops are filled because they know they will sell out. After all, that burger is amazing. If I could travel back in time and tell myself before I bought any other Burger in Montgomery about the experience of my first bite at the Hamburger King, I would. I would have forcefully taken him there if past me would not listen. The atmosphere is as if you walked into a 1970s burger joint, except it is way rustier, and that is okay because the food is amazing. I could ignore the awful smell from the bathroom as I sat next to the table and enjoyed the burger because it was delicious. The prices on the board behind the counter include tax, and I appreciate that because I don't have to worry about anything hidden here. This place is straightforward. Burger patty get it all the way. Maybe make some adjustments, and it's about $10 for a full meal. This is one of my top five restaurants in Montgomery.

Hamburger King – A True Hidden Gem! This place is absolutely awesome! If you're craving a real, no-frills, juicy burger grilled to perfection, look no further. Hamburger King knows exactly what they’re doing—the patties are thick, flavorful, and cooked just right every time. Don’t come expecting fries, because this isn’t fast food. This is a classic burger joint that focuses on quality over quantity. But if you're in a hurry, just call ahead, and they'll have it ready for you. The atmosphere has that nostalgic, old-school charm that makes it feel like a true local treasure. From the hand-painted murals to the sizzling grill right behind the counter, you know you’re getting a burger made with care. If you appreciate a great burger done right, Hamburger King is the place to be. Highly recommended!

A pretty good burger with no frills. And by no frills I mean no bacon after 10 something in the AM, no French fries and what felt like no AC. Cash only so expect a $3 ATM fee if you brought a Visa. No fountain drinks, so no refills, no ice, and you get a snack sized bag of chips. I guess what I'm saying is the food is good but it feels like taking a good burger and stripping any other good parts of the lunch experience. I would recommend it if you're close by and looking for a burger. It's cheaper than it's direct competition.

I checked your Website & it stated that you were open today 1-2-2024 & will close at 2:30. I know this place has been opened a very long time & like many people, we have all been through many heartbreaking challenges & we certainly pray that this isn't the issue for the wrong information on your Website. On the otherhand, my husband came down there at 11:27 AM to place an order, & to his suprise, you were not open! Not everyone calls before they drive 20 minutes out of their lunch hour after they have checked their Website to see if they are open or not. Why wouldn't this establishment adjust their Website to accommodate the correct business hours for their customers so they would not loose extra time from lunch hours? Again, I certainly hope that there has not been an event to have caused an unfortunate incident, but I believe someone could have keyed in some type of information to update the customers with correct information. Something to think about for future events - ...

I went for my first visit to The Hamburger King today a little after lunch so I could avoid the long lines. After hearing all of the rave reviews, I can definitely say that I wasn't disappointed! I had the Deluxe Cheeseburger all the way. My God it was like Heaven between two buns topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, and ketchup. I think one thing that makes their burgers stand out from everyone else's is that they use really fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. You can definitely taste the difference in the freshness! If you're looking for a fancy restaurant with a huge menu and expensive prices then The Hamburger King is not for you. But, if you're looking for THE BEST BURGER in Montgomery (and probably thousands of other cities too for that matter) with a small cozy and old timey burger joint kinda decor, then The Hamburger King is just for you! I highly recommend it if you're in the Montgomery or...
