We received a flyer in the mail this week advertising a new pizza place and featuring their Detroit style pizza. Being big fans of Jets and their Detroit style- we gave it a shot. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed and disappointed from start to finish.

First, the flyer clearly says "If you received this mailer WE DELIVER TO YOU" They advertise an app for easy ordering. Cool. Download the app. Put in the address: "sorry we don't deliver there". hmm okay. So we call the restaurant directly. Put on hold about 2 minutes before being greated and asked for our order. The friendly girl reassured me that must have been a fluke because the app and website tend to be glitchy but they would surely deliver to us! She took our order and assured us it would be an hour delivery time- this was at 7:10 on a Sunday evening. Understandable.

1 hour and 25 minutes later- Almost 8:40 pm, our food arrived. To say we were shocked at the amount of food/quality/value for the price is an understatement. We ordered boneless wings, a caesar salad, and small pizza. It was $47. FORTY SEVEN DOLLARS. Now of course we were aware when placing the order it was $42, then informed there was a $5 delivery fee. Seems a bit steep for pizza delivery but realize it's (hopefully) a little higher quality than chain delivery and we're post covid restaurant industry- ok, fine. Again, that total was questionable, but with the sizes not being completely clear on the flyer, we were hopeful the servings would make up for the price some.

Nope. Our $47 order consisted of: A caesar salad with romain and parmesan that looked like it came from the green shaker. The croutons and dressing were decent. The mediocre salad was the best part of our meal. Our $13 boneless wings were 6, yes SIX ($2 per chunk) cold, dry and hard chicken chunks. The "small" TINY pizza with TWO toppings, pepperoni and sausage, was $18. EIGHTEEN DOLLARS. mind blown. It was smaller than any kiddie pizza I've ever seen. Not to mention, it was as cold, burnt and dry as well.

And to top it off- for a 5 dollar delivery fee they can't even include napkins or plastic ware??!?

We both agreed, the flavors MAY have been decent, if it were even remotely fresh when delivered. But honestly, the ridiculous quality and value of the food left such a bad taste in our mouths- i'm not sure we could tell.

Moral of the story- for better service, flavor and value- we'll stick to Jets

See pics- that’s a SMALL pizza box with the tiny pizza. see the 2oz dressing cup next to it...

I'll cut to the chase, the pizza quality is great here which I appreciate. The pricing, product size, and "nickel and diming" cause this restaurant to fall short.

I got one of the classic deep dish pizzas for $13 base price (already a premium price). I enjoyed my pie but it was farly small (only about 5 inch by 5 or so). It was very tastly but I thought I'd have leftovers.

They tried to re-open a closed online order check to charge me another $2 for the extra sauce I put in the special requests. Are you kidding me? If extra sauce was an online option for a whopping $2 I would have un-checked the option. For 5 or 10 cents worth of extra sauce.

I saw other reviews cite the same, $2 for extra salad dressing. The female manager proudly said "they make a premium product and charge for absolutely everything." I would stop doing that; you're turning off a lot of customers. $15 for that small thing would have been a straight up rip-off. They took off the "extra" sauce and charged me $13.

What a joke, I won't be back. Hope it...

We had a large group and our server kept forgetting things and disappearing for a short while at a time (No problem at all, two of us worked food service and understand). People’s food started coming out and we waited for probably 20 minutes until we were told that our pizza had a hole in it and needed to be remade. Okay, no problem. The manager came over to assist and gave us half off our pizza which was super nice. Then we finally got our pizza and it tasted great. I asked our server for a small bit of ranch and he forgot again and disappeared. He came over to pass out checks and I was still waiting. One thing we weren’t too keen on was the automatic 20% tip. It might have been because we were a group but I didn’t feel that it was well deserved. Overall, we loved the food, but the service we received was mediocre at best...

Wonderful pizza that lets you enjoy every single bite! Coming in on a Tuesday night, service and food was quick as it wasn’t super busy. We ordered a large pizza with half of the Asiago chicken toppings and half of the Deluxe toppings, New York style. The fresh ingredients really stand out as the pizza comes out quite chewy, in such a way where you can really enjoy every bite.Out of the two flavors, I was more of a fan of the Asiago as the chicken was well seasoned and the bites of tomato sauce balanced the cheesiness. We also had the Eggplant stack, which was very similar to an eggplant Parmesan, but stacked! The crispy texture goes well with the sauce, but cutting pieces together was quite a challenge. Overall a big fan, and can’t wait to come back :)
