October 16th: Before I start, id like to point out that I have worked in many fast food restaurants, so I get it. I’m currently 7 months pregnant and decided i really didn’t feel like cooking tonight as I work a full time job, and I was craving that chicken finger sandwich thing with the sauce on it. So I order me and my husband some food on the app. I drive across town to pick it up after about 20 minutes, and when I get there, all the chairs are up on tables and almost all the lobby doors are locked, at this point it’s 8:30, so they still have a while until closing, plus I’d never place an order at a restaurant right before they close as I understand how frustrating that is when you wanna go home. Fast forward, I walk in and they tell me the front lobby is closed, and I reply, “oh sorry, I have a pickup order I was just trying to pick up.” They ask for my name and I tell them, they go to the back and then come back out to tell me they are out of everything I order…what😭😭😭? So I drove all the way out just to be turned around with no real refund. They couldn’t even call me to tell me that they were sold out. They ask me if I still want to fries, like no I’d like my time wasted back please, but they all lowkey had an attitude about offering me any food like I had done something wrong…How are you out of chicken at a chicken place? I get it but if that’s actually true, they desperately need new management to actually keep things in stock. This is a management issue. Read moreSince they close at 8 pm now, they cut off all orders in the zaxby’s app sometime between 7 & 7:30. But save yourself the waste of time & gas if its after 7 pm, as that’s the time they stop selling appetizers, traditional wings, filets & salads. If you happen to want a #1, be sure to get in the drive-through line by 7:15 since they methodically delay the drive-thru orders starting then. Once 7:50 pm hits, you can forget it. They hold the drive-thru line so that whoever orders at or immediately after 7:50 is the last order of the day. Tonight, I sat in line for 25 mins & at 7:53 I was the next in line. What do you know, no movement for 7 mins but literally as the clock hit 8 pm, of course I get to move up to the speaker only to be told they close at 8 pm. This isn’t the first or even third time I’ve experienced the motionless 7-10 mins before they close, so I was not happy & told the lady I’d been in line for 25 mins while not moving for the last 7. Of course she didn’t respond. Not sure how it’s helping you stay “safe” from COVID by closing an hour early & significantly cutting your menu 2 hours early. Guess your employees run the show &/or the owner isn’t hurting if they can allow sales to drive off during peak...

THEN THE YOUNG BOY AT THE WINDOW THREW MY CHANGE AT ME, AND TOLD ME IF I WANTED IT, THAT I CAN PULL UP AND GET IT, SO I TOLD HIM IF HE DIDN’T WANT HIS DRAWER TO BE SHORT HE’LL COME AROUND AND GET IT BC IM NOTTTTT, ITS COLD ASF OUTSIDE AND I JUST GOT OFF OF WORK AND IM NOT GETTING OUT OF MY CAR, SO NO!!!! BUT I STILL NEED SOMEONE TO UP ME MY CHANGE THOUGH!!!!
