Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Moore

As someone who used to work here, I am not recommending this place. I used to love Braum's but as soon as I started working there everything changed. At least when I worked there, the employees were amazing and hardworking, but most of the managers were absolutely horrible and unprofessional. The location alone was unsanitary and possibly dangerous for customers. For starters, when I first started working I was not given training at all. I'd get berated for making a mistake, even though I was never taught. I don't really remember, but I believe this led to multiple mistakes while treating customers. (Keep in mind this was my VERY first job.) Another problem I had that is very very unsanitary is that they did not care if you were sick. One morning I called in after vomiting saying I was sick and couldn't come in. The manager working there at the time said it "didn't make sense" and threatened to take me off the schedule. It was 7am and I just woke up. I understand that it's frustrating when an employee calls in an hour before saying they're sick but I had just woken up to get ready. I've heard of people coming in to work while sick and I wouldn't doubt that they were pressured or something. Another issue is that no, most employees to my knowledge, do not check the grocery section for expired food. I constantly would be restocking and checking the foods only to find an entire isle of expired food. When I'd go in the back, I'd see the same thing. The cooks in the back did wear gloves, but people preparing ice cream didn't seem to be required to wear gloves, or at least it wasn't enforced. The back area where customers weren't allowed was dirty. I've seen bugs back there, everything is unorganized, boxes everywhere, and the floors and walls were dirty and there seemed to be mold in some areas. The managers at least to my knowledge have little to no respect for their employees or their customers and it's such a toxic workplace and environment. Overall I really would not recommend this location. I know most of the workers are trying their hardest but they as well as the customers deserve better. they only get paid $7.25 and the customers usually get...

I went out of my way to this location because it is less crowded. After I received our order I pulled around to make sure I got everything. Thank goodness I did . Both of the gravy containers were on sides lids not fully on. I pulled both out . One bowl was completely empty with the gravy running down chicken strips box to the bottom of the bag. As I was pulling the items out to try and clean them up the gravy sat at the bottom of the bag. The next thing I know I have gravy all over my pants because the gravy made a hole in bag. I am usually not the type of person to take things back or complain but At this point I am rather pissed off that I have no gravy and Im wearing half of it. I took the gravy containers in along with the bag and dirty napkins where I asked to speak to the manager. I got an apology but that was it. I don't know what I expected, maybe at least a sincere apology and not just words coming out of his mouth . I left with two new bowls of gravy. When I got home my daughter tells me that her hamburger has cheese on it .it is supposed to only have ketchup and pickles. Needless to say it didn't get eaten because she hates Cheese. I ordered a double burger meal with a large fry in a chicken sandwich club.when I got to the window paid in pulled up looked at receipt.told her it was a large they had given me. my food she was sweating looking angry in was a medium drink in fry. I told her it was a large she said well I am going have to charge u for that fry. I told her I didn’t want it I only want what I ordered. she told me she would refund it in charge me for this in that but didn’t understand her!! I only wanted what I ordered then told her never mind. just give me my money back what I gave u she gave me my change 5 dollar bill in 14.99 dollar in 99 cent but I gave her a 20 dollar bill it’s what I wanted she got mad in gave me this instead!
