March 17, 2019 UPDATE. No joke. one year later I just went there to get a shamrock shake once again. Guess what no shamrock shakes on St Patrick's day. Seriously? Keep reading below to see my review from last year at this time. Terrible service. I ordered a Shamrock Shake in the drive through, as I pulled forward to pay, the lady at the window waived to me to back up because the car in front had dropped thier credit card. No problem. Then I pull up to the window to pay and the lady (dressed like a manager in a bright Fushia button down shirt, not a regular team member) starts shouting forward to the front of the store because the girl taking orders has told her not to take anymore orders for ice cream because they have no ice cream. This lady shouts to her TM. "You are the one with the headset on taking orders; you need to stop!" She NEVER greets me or says hello. She just turns to me and says "we don't have any more ice cream." And then she just stares at me. I say, "Really, ok." Then I ask if she can waive to the car behind me to back up a little so I can get out of the drive thru line (it is the kind that traps you in once you pass by the payment window) and leave. She says, no because the car in front of me had me back up because they dropped thier card. I say, "so you are ok with making me sit trapped in this line and wait, even though you guys don't even have what I ordered, when you could have told me that at the time I ordered?" Then she rolls her eyes, sighs dramatically and starts ranting loudly to the TM next to her how she is sick of customers, blah blah blah. I put my car in reverse and that signaled the car behind me to back up a couple of feet, so I could swing out of the line, which the customer did. Thankfully. If I was a manager there, I would have greeted my customer politely, apologized for the mix-up and offered to give the customer a FREE drink or coffee to make up for it. THEN if the customer didn't want that, I would have offered a gift card and waived the car trapping them in to back up, so that customer could leave without having to sit in a line. THEN I would make a note to retrain the TM taking orders. Customer Service is a dying...
Read moreI live about 5 mins from this location. The first time we visited a couple years back we had a terrible experience. For that reason I'll drive past this location and go to the one near Lowe's instead. Well yesterday I decided to give them a second chance. I ordered a 20 piece nugget meal, a 10 piece nugget, fries and a drink, 2 kids meals (double fries no apple slices) and 2 big mac meals and asked for NO pickles and onions on one of them because I'm allergic. Oddly enough we were never asked sauce type for nuggets so I had to make sure to tell them before driving up to pay.
We get to the window and are handed open happy meal boxes not sure why but we notice we have apple slices and not double fries so I quickly made the young girl aware. We then got tray of drinks, and bag with nuggets and sandwiches. I quickly notice neither big mac box is labeled with the exclusions so I ask if it was made properly. Girl shouts to the back tells me yes but that I'm supposed to check it. Another girl behind her was rolling her eyes which I found rude. Had it been properly labeled I wouldn't have asked but I guess I had to check myself. We're then handed bag with all fries including the missing ones. I still had to ask for the sauces as they were not in any of the bags. After what seemed like forever we finally drove away only to realize they never gave us the kids drinks. No I did not turn back. Not worth giving them any more of my energy.
Once home I start separating everyone's orders and had to go digging in 2 big macs to determine which was mine. Thankfully the other was for my mother in law so she didn't mind but imagine if it was for a friend or colleague or something.
Best part, they both had pickles and onions so I practically had to wipe everything away. Not a very enjoyable meal if I say so myself.
The McDonald's near Lowe's will continue to get my business as I will no longer give this location...
Read moreI am giving two stars for now and will update once my issue is resolved. I've been coming to this location for years and have never had an issue. Service is fast, morning employees in drive thru always very sweet. However, I went there for a sausage and egg mcmuffin meal a couple weeks ago on a Friday, great service, but my food was only luke warm, not hot like usual. I figured it might be because it was made a few minutes before and had time to cool while I was in line so I ate it. BIG MISTAKE! About 1.5 hours after eating I became so dizzy at work I had to lay on the floor until my husband came to get me. Then the stomach cramping and the pleasantries that go along with that. I developed a high fever, went to the doctor and had to spend $80 out of pocket. I'm pregnant so that made the illness far more dangerous for me and the baby. My husband took my doctor bill to the manager last Wednesday and we haven't heard one word. Nothing. He's going back today to try to get our doctor fees reimbursed. I will update once we hear their final decision. If they don't reimburse I will be forced to take further action and will update my rating as such. Half cooked food should never be served. Rating will improve if my doc bill is reimbursed and go down if not. We shall see. --Lowering my rating. They have not refunded my doctor bill. I filled out the paper they gave me and they then said they needed the date of the occurrence which was CLEARLY STATED ON THE FORM. I don't think they give two flips about their customers and they are just lucky their food didn't hurt my developing baby or they would be out of business by the time I got done with them. I'm not happy that my couple dollar breakfast ended up costing me over $80. Total bull. If you get sick from their food, don't expect them to do the...
