I have my first experience this morning. I’m a little disappointed but i’m leaving a 5 star review as i’m really just here to share my experience, not to drag the company down. First i was taken off guard by not being greeted as soon as i walked in even after i said hello. I assumed it being a new business they would be welcoming and enthusiastic when a customer walks in. It was apparent i didn’t know where to look for menu items or what i was even looking at. Obviously it’s bagels and it was easy to figure out but again as a new business i was surprised she did not jump in to tell me how it all works. The man that handed me my bagel was kind.
I got the cinnamon sugar bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. I expected it to be sweeter, i didn’t taste much of the cinnamon sugar coated on the bagel at all. Actually, i even questioned if it was the correct order. I’ve never written a review before so truly that’s how taken back i was by the whole experience.
I will be back and look forward to trying the stuffed bagels. it is nice to have a place to get FRESH bagels! Their prices are so affordable! I am hoping my experience next time will be improved after it’s reminded how important customer...
Read morean excellent experience. I spent many years in the New York Metro area. since I've been in NC now for almost 10 years, it is the closest to a true NYC experience. The only problem and it's not these people's fault. is that local folks simply can't handle A line And menus that are hanging from the ceiling. I enjoy going there. + in all fairness it's not the owner's fault. but the customers will spend all their time waiting for the line to advance and it seems that none of them ever bother looking at the menu, until they get to the fronts of the line. then all the rest of us have to wait until the Royal Entourage decides what will Grace their tender pallets on this fine day. if North Carolinians could simply Master this skill and one other, the quality of life and NC would instantly and forever improve. The other talent North Carolinians g unable to master? STAY OUT OF THE LEFT HAND LANE UNTIL YOU NEED TO PASS, THESE TWO SKILLS TOGETHER WOULD UNBELIEVABLELY IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THIS...
Read moreI grew up in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn in the 60's and 70's and 80's and our Bagel Store was called Sheepshead Bay toBagels across the street from the train station. Trust me there is no one better then them. They have Egg bagels 🥯 and Wheat bagels 🥯 which you do not sell which were to die for so to speak but since you don't carry them I tried your plain and sesame bagel which were okay BUT not like the original Sheepshead Bagel store by the subway and many years later the owner's moved to my area in New Jersey and again their Egg and wheat 🥯 were just as good if not better then when I grew up. I have recommended you though to my co-workers who never ate bagels and they seem to like them but sorry for me I can't say the same so since moving down here to North Carolina I send money up to my relatives in New Jersey and they send me down here overtime 2 dozen...
