We ordered a bruschetta pie, chicken parmigiana sub and a chick Philly sandwich for lunch on a late Sunday afternoon in February. Very friendly service, despite our dumb questions as we rarely eat real Italian food. Limited options for us on the menu, as they have no chicken toppings for the pizza and their pastas don't have it either. Son badly wanted the lasagna, but it comes with meatballs which is a dietary restriction for us.
The adults loved the pie, simple, fresh, tasty, and not so cheesy which you don't often say for pizza. The kids preferred the cheesy sub. The hot chicken sandwich was full of flavor too. Since our pizza joint visits are a hit or miss, we always hesitate going with the reviews to match our taste buds. But Luigi's is a hit for us, with these menu items - definitely the best find on our Atlantic Beach City vacation. It's on the far end of the strip mall from 70 and our GPS took us to the...
Read moreSo horrible that we had to throw away two large pizzas after trying them both from a few different slice parts. We used to get food here sometimes when visiting the area, and clearly something has changed. The pizza is completely inedible. We got 1 large with green pepper and onion (pictured) that was cold, oily, greasy, and slimy. We got 1 large bruschetta pizza (pictured) that was supposed to come with tomato, onion, garlic, and basil. As you can see, there are definitely tomatoes and onions: both very raw and chunky, the tomatoes were huge, underripe, and watery chunks that tasted awful. We think the basil is maybe supposed to be the dark green dried flecky bits on the pizza, but you can't taste anything over the fleshy watery gross tomato and raw pungent onion mixed with greasy oil and flabby, rubbery pizza crust. This was the worst pizza I or my family...
Read moreThis was a horrible experience. I ordered spaghetti/meatballs. I got a bowl of tomato sauce/no ingredients within the sauce, just pure sauce out of a can. Spaghetti was put in the sauce wherewith you could not see the Spaghetti hidden in so much puree of "sauce". I also recieved about four small pieces of bread that would normally have garlic, etc. This looked as if the thin pieces of bread was burned and appeared to have tiny black ashes spread over the top. My sister whom suggested eating here because it use to be nice. The men's bathroom was completely filthy. To the point it made me sick. Honestly, I always try to be fair and truthful because I don't want to hurt a person's business. Here I am being totally honest. My first and last vist ever. This is my opinion. You decide...
