I would first like to add that I’ve been a loyal customer here since the early 80s when Moreno Valley was actually called Sunnymead at the time. My visits here have generally always been positive, but recently within the last year or so the service has declined tremendously. The final straw for me was discovering metal wire found in the green salsa in a takeout order we placed. This has never happened before and I understand mistakes happen. I wasn’t injured or anything serious from it, but the way it was handled by the manager Vanessa is unacceptable. When we called on a Sunday to notify the restaurant she wasn’t available and wouldn’t be so until Tuesday and we’re assured we’d receive a phone call back as a priority. So Tuesday rolls around and nothing. My wife calls shortly after 2pm and the staff said she isn’t in yet but will be coming for sure and that they will make sure she calls us back. Now Wednesday comes and by mid afternoon still nothing. My wife decided to leave a FB post and wouldn’t you believe 30 minutes later the manager calls us back smh. By this time I’m already more than irritated with the way Vanessa has handled this. I’m not an unreasonable person but this should’ve been on the priority list for her. Again I’ve been coming to this restaurant longer than she’s been working there. In short they refunded our money back for the order after basically twisting her arm to do it, but I think I’m done with this place. There were other events prior to this that were not favorable experiences for us so this last straw broke it for me. All I can say now is I hope that Vanessa and ownership take this situation as a learning experience and next time handle these situations with urgency and delicately. Read moreWehad dinner here on a Tuesday evening and sat in the bar area. We had great service from the man running the bar, he was bad tending,waiting,bussing, and serving. There was just him and one waitress who was so unfriendly and not helpful at all. She was randomly checking on tables when I asked for more water she said ok and went and stood against the wall and watched tv for ten minutes. She was extrenely rude and obluvious to all the tables who needed something or even realizing the bartender needed help. The bar got busy and the poor hardworking gentleman in the bar was trying as best as he could to get everything for everyone in a timely matter. For just the two of us it was $60, we couldn’t believe it. I had water and my husband 2 drinks on Happy Hour which were supposedly $3. I ordered the flautas plate $13 and was disappointed with the serving 2 flautas. My husband has the fajitadilla which was a great serving size, I can’t remember the price for his. I ordered thru the drive thru pulled off and tasted them...When i took them into him and told him that these had salt he literally argued with me and told me they didn't i asked him to taste them he said no im not, asked me for them all back...which was the sizes that start with a H the biggest bag and 2 of the sizes that comes with the 2 bean and cheese burrito meals ... I stood at the counter while they made fresh ones and they were exactly what i asked for with no salt and fresh. Note i did notice with this Specific Bakers and the one in M.V. that they make frys and keep a full tray of frys at all times in a silver holder under the heated frys..like at about knee length .wide open getting cold and un covered..
