France House Of Crepes is a nice little place that is a little hard to find or see from the street. You may never notice the restaurant if you aren’t looking for it. Most choose to dine at France House Of Crepes (referenced as “Fr HOC” here on) for a nice occasional weekend breakfast. this is exactly where this little cozy French themed restaurant can create an experience. Pleasing visually with it’s many iconic symbols of French culture present through out the petite indoor dining area. Accompanied by French tunes played at a volume that is loud enough to notice and appreciate but not distracting. There is an outdoor dining area that is almost magical it has quite a few plants that give a fresh feel if done right this place would be a powerful star . Unfortunately it falls short in a few ways at times making dining in the patio unpleasant. For one patio seating\tables are not very inviting resembling a typical bench from any park. Paired with issues that can’t be ignored is how clean the outdoor tables are kept(not clean). It did rain the night before so it could have been just bad timing but another problem I have experienced are ANTS. I get eating out doors does have some encounters with nature. This is a different case there is no excuse that they can’t keep ants from crawling up tables & chairs in great numbers continuously. Honestly I enjoy this place.I am only being hard on it because it has potential. my children love the hot chocolate. I would by far recommend this over any Denny’s\Ihop. If you love crepes you will like Fr HOC. If you love pancakes and have yet to try crepes you will fall in love with the food. The staff is great and like I said this place could be magical but as of now it falls short only achieving the status of a GOOD weekend breakfast...
Read moreThe first day we went to this place it was wonderful the super fast attention so fast that we did not even have time to see the menu well but we liked it because they brought us everything quickly, we were very eager to return. The second time they had us waiting for more than half an hour sitting without attending us and when we finally made our order they brought oly one order I did not want to touch my food until my husband had his food too, everything looked good until the girl came to remove my plate because she said it was not my order that they had made a mistake and just as they left me the plate so they took it to the correct customer after I have the food in front of me that I was breathing all my air and talking waiting for the food to my Husband I found it somewhat unhygienic to take that dish like that to the other person more now in times of a pandemic. They took a long time to keep the bill and my husband already tired of waiting, had to stand up and go to the cashier himself to pay because they never took good care of us, we could leave without paying and they wouldn't even notice but we are honest people and we were never very dissatisfied we never have gone to a restaurant and left without tipping. Here we did it because the attention was terrible just with the fact of taking me a plate of food and then taking it away because it was not mine. I am not writing this review to seek our money back. I also want to add that my husband asked for an espresso because he was excited about the decoration they say they make and when they brought his coffe don't had any decoration. I write it so that they improve the attention and so that the people who work there value the work that many people outside are looking to have. That they have more order and...
Read moreOne-hour ticket times. Zero complaint resolution. Zero reconciliation for bad service. Lying about our order.
At 11:30 am, we ordered two onion soups, three crepes, a side of bacon, and drinks. We never received the side of bacon.
After 30 minutes of waiting, we asked about the drinks. The server told us that ticket times are long and everyone came in at the same time. They finally brought out the orange juice and coffee.
After 45 minutes of waiting, we asked about the food again, and a manager came to tell us that tickets take a while.
Finally, after 1 hour of waiting, tables that got here after us had their food already, we asked again. Another manager or cook told us that ticket times were 20-30 minutes. We informed him that we put the order in 1 hour ago. He had no response.
At 12:45 pm, more than an hour later, we received our food, minus the bacon.
From what they told us (20-30 minute ticket times, if their assessment is accurate), along with the fact that we waited more than 1 hour for it to come out, one can deduce that they indeed lost our ticket. However, at no point did they admit it, apologize for it, or offer any form of reconciliation.
Instead they delayed it further and further, as newer tables received food. They only offered excuses, without any admission of fault, regret, or apology. We came in with an open mind and anticipation for good food. We left, having paid for a subpar, incomplete, and late meal in full ($60). Not a satisfying experience by...
