Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

ATTENTION EVERYONE: You may remember my post below. I have an update. I stopped by this evening just to check the consistency. Well, BAD NEWS. The Staff were ABSOLUTELY horrible and the food disappointing. Even the salad wasn't fresh. The beets looked like they had been thawed and sitting there all day. One male Staff even went into the bedroom and came out and didn't wash his HANDS. The server Destinee (along with another young man whom works on day shift-african American)was the friendliness individual in the place. The evening manager was horrible and her staff RUDE and unprofessional. I will NOT BE RETURNING. NEVER. Truly disappointing. I can honestly say that they know what good service is but just may NOT be interested in giving it. Signed: SHOW CONSISTENCY!!!

Of the 498 Golden Corrals that exist, I have been to 101 locations. Until today, Kansas and (Houston)Texas were a tie for #1, however after today, Golden Corral in Moreno Valley, California is #1. The rest rooms were monitored and cleaned by Lindsey. Denise at the salad bar was so kind. My servers were both Extremely attentive!!! They were actually sisters working together on the same job. I KNOW their mother is proud. Both hardworking young ladies.

Back to GC, Joe the manager runs a tight ship but has the respect of his team. He worked diligently cleaning seats and tables and reminded his team to be efficient. Just one of the best managers. Golden Corral Corporate, Joe needs to train your other locations. He is your BEST manager!!! Great job Joe. Keep up the great job. Efficient and great food. Went there twice since June. Absolutely love the variety of food. I also love that they have entire meals to go with the food. It's not just random things. Like, if you want meatloaf, they also have mashed potatoes and greenbeans to also have with it. And rolls. The food is very tasty. Not a lot of fatty meats. Not super salty or greasy. You can always tell if the food is fresh or if it's been sitting there. Very clean. I don't see a lot of the food on the floor from messy customers, or any food mixed with the other when people like to use the same spoon for two types of food, you k ow how people sometimes dip a spoon into one thing and then use it for something else. Also, the food was hot. Except the last time, their fish, which I absolutely love, seemed a little Luke warm, like the tray wasn't hot enough. But very, very good. Their buffet is very nice looking. The sweets section is awesome with so much to choose from, like cakes, muffins, ice cream, and cookies. The customer service is okay. It's not super busy that I've seen, but the busboy who pick up the plates seem to be missing for a bit. But they are friendly. The cost for me and two kids between 7 and 10 was $55. I love that they have nice music playing and not too loud, but nice. You can hear each other talking. And the cooks are friendly. One more thing is that the tables should be made sure to be free of crumbs. They're clean, but they can be cleaner. We have eaten here on several occations,maybe 2 or 3 times a month. The food is good sometimes, other times lacking care to quality and freshness. At 4pm the additional items for up charge is not ready for 30 to 45 minutes, people all waiting. this is not acceptable. Was promised a baked in 15 minutes after an hour no potatoes, manager said oven was broken.Yes lack of putting them in the oven. The whole place needs a professional cleaning,and remodeling the seating. I have left feeling sick on more than one occasion within a hour of eating. People take food with finger,use hands that are dripping with food from handles. The absolute worst are the restrooms. They always need attention, the smell is like a third world country. 2 weeks ago I spoke directley to the manager about the deployable condition of the restroom. The floor had so much waste on the floor and was visible it needed attention, the trash cans were overflowing and full of waste, there was fecies on doors,stooles and floor. Pee and poop was standing like a river on the floor.He told me to lower my voice no one needs to hear. I told him you need condemed ,beyond filthy, and we would never be back. I have spoken to him many times on several occasions and he could care less about anything you say regarding his lack of caring as a manager. Too many other places that are clean, and caring.
