I'm curious about this buffet off Highway 60 and finally get to try. We dine dinner hour today 4:30pm Wednesday, huge parking spaces a view of Highway 60 and the M symbol mountain. Greeted by the 2 security lion dogs of power going inside the place is spaces and well ventilation I couldn't smell chef cooking at the hibachi station also air conditioner was nice didn't feel humid. Party of 4 seated immediately and put our choice of drinks in, nice. Tried the hibachi first sauce choice of garlic, soy, and chili oil with my mom it was very delicious. The cook has experience, no doubt forreals. Fried rice was on the dry side, and the barbecue pork rib too so sad my tongue needed a revival sprite liquid. Oysters are good but small tiny meat, but just when I'm on the desert, the kitchen reloads with a big meaty size oyster bummer sad face. Huge food selection my favorite are the baked mussels with creamy mayo and hands down the hibachi grill totally delicious we tip the chef. Service, great, the waitress did a very good work, and it kept up making everyone in our section drinks filled and dirty dishes off the table. It was definitely a good tip, and it was well deserved. Each adult person for dinner is $20.99, and fountain drinks $2.99, very affordable food quality not so bad me likey and my wallet. Positive aura fun atmosphere family and friends hanging out together also birthday parties that's cool to see. Definitely come back again, and my parents love it, especially my mom. Next time, I'll call to know if they have senior and birthday discounts that would...
Read moreThis review is for the price paid, ambiance, food offerings and service. Sadly, I’ve lost any hopes in buffets, the last ones I visited was in L.A, Vegas and Fuji Buffets both located in Glendale, Ca was a terrible experience so when my cousin invited me for a New Years Day lunch my expectations were already low. To my surprise, the inside was very spacious although, some of the tables were close together. Nonetheless, those in the front made it work to ensure people weren’t in each other’s way. they offered all day dinner at an affordable price of $21.99. Decided to scope the food out first, although I have a shellfish allergy, I always think about the others in the party! They offered crab, lobster, crawfish, oysters, clams, mussels, really nice-looking sushi rolls, fresh sashimi, decent Chinese hot food; Mongolian beef, fried rice, noodles, orange chicken, honey chicken, beef and broccoli, fried tofu. A kid’s area such as; fried chicken, French fries, pizza, chicken nuggets, sesame balls, malasadas (or fried doughnuts) soup station, a good salad area and a DIY Mongolian area. The customer service was very good, attentive workers and although those in the back kept coming back to the lobster station to grab the good pieces, (as I watched) All was fine, I have to give them kudos for the price we paid, the food and service. For the 5 of us without tip was $125, great price for now till it goes up to $35.99 AYCE. Give them a try, but come for dinner, lunch not...
Read moreOk....so for a buffet place it's not bad. HOWEVER...I would steer clear of the mussles, crab legs, and a couple of the sushi selections. The salmon chunks were plain, eel sushi was chewy and not top flavorful. The crab legs were practically like dust inside from being overcooked. Mussles tastes like straight stinky ocean water and we're very grainy. The claim she'll with some kind of crab filling was OK, crayfish was not too bad but also overcooked. The pork meat on a stick, ribs, and wings were REALLY good. I was totally obsessed with the kelp (or maybe it's sea weed) salad. The flavor and crunch of that was addicting. The sushi pieces with dressings/condiments ON them were not too bad, they were good. The hit and sour soup was practically made up of all corn starch. Good flavor but soooooo much corn starch. The fried plantains (spot on) the water melon...omg...I couldn't believe how sweet and juicy the water melon was. The whole shrimp (with the eyes) was very tasty as well as the bacon wrapped shrimp. The orange chicken wa tiny over cooked pieces and the beef and broccoli...beef was wsy overcooked. Tiny octopus tastes good on the outside but is also overcooked. If I were to go back I would stick to the hibachi, a select few pieces of sushi, the ribs, wings, meat on stick, and some fruit. The clam filled crab thing, kelp salad, watermelon.....and....nope, yeah, I would make sure to just get my money's worth off those main things...
