Really quite a jem in Morgantown. The prices are very reasonable for amazing bread and various dessert items. I love that there are so many types of bread, and every day of the week has a specialty bread. You have the option to have your bread sliced there for free or you can take it home whole. They also make some very interesting pizzas if you're ever sick of simple pizzas. Being so close to WVU, there have been bake sales for music trips where the baked goods were supplied by Phoenix Bakery. It seemed like sales were always good when Phoenix Bakery supplied the food. Inside the bakery, you can see some of the back with the ovens if you're curious about the process. Phoenix has been a staple in Morgantown for years. The owners are fantastic, the employees are fantastic, & the food is fantastic. It’s really sad to see all the false negative reviews stemmed from some self entitled “child” who’s mad that her car was towed cause she feels their parking lot is her personal parking space. I had no idea this place existed! While driving through South Park I stumbled upon it and had to check it out. Was I glad I did! Even though it was later into the evening, their menu still had quite a selection to choose from. I got a pizza that rocked! Truly fresh ingredients and a made-from-scratch taste that out does any chain pizza place. This bakery is a treasure offering an array of tasty treats! Also, the cleanliness of the establishment and staff were top notch! I feel 100% confident eating from here again...
