Buddy's Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Morristown

It doesn't deserve a star.... We wanted to try a new place to eat so we went here. Worst mistake ever. We ordered the all u can eat rib meal for 2. This was the absolute worst disgusting food I have ever eaten. The ribs were very fatty. The beans, slaw, potatoe salad was nasty. Green beans were good. Hushpuppies we're ok but dry. We pretty much spent almost $29.00 on green beans since that was the only thing that tasted good. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We wasted our money. I had to go ask for more ribs. The older lady with black hair said that she would bring them. We waited for almost 10 mins. So we left. I work in the food industry as a head cook. This place needs new cooks and recipes. The black hair lady needs customer service training and smile. She looked like a very unhappy person. If you read this review. Please do not eat at this place. The food is horrible and the service is horrible. Also, there is mold stains on the ceiling tiles just around the corner where thet booths are. Health department should check that out. Hopefully the owner to this place will taste the food and see it's awful. It's nowhere near good quality food. I would be ashamed if that food was coming from...

Food was good and reasonably priced. The woman at the front counter did NOT need to be there. My food was ordered and paid for ahead of time. It was on the counter when I got there. All she had to do was hand it to me. Instead, she proceeded to make 2 hot fudge cakes and quite literally took the longest possible amount of time to assemble them. The MOD told her to give me my food, as he was on his way to the dining room for another customer. When he returned, she still hadn't, and he had to tell her again. She told him she would get to it when she finished the ice cream. She was only about halfway finished because she would pick one up, put what was needed into the bowl, put it down (fumbling the bowl every time), picked up the other, and put something in the bowl. Then she put it down to pick up the other bowl. And she was SLOW... by the time I left, I was pretty irritated.

Oh, I almost forgot... I also had my 4 year old grandson with me, climbing on everything while I tried to keep him somewhat still....

Waited in drive through to place an order. We live 25 minutes away and we sit in drive through with a schedule to keep but she was craving some Buddy’s. After waiting 20 minutes we got to the window only to be told their internet was down and they couldn’t accept credit or debit due to machine needing internet connection to process payments. I get this; computers run our lives everyday. But when I pulled my wallet out to pay cash where I always keep and emergency $20. Then kid says he will have to talk to the manager and came back and said they can’t take cash because they have no way of receiving cash and calculating change with their system. What have we came to we can’t hand one pulled pork dinner out window and take real and not fake American dollar bills to pay for said dinner and it melts everyone in buildings brains to make a simple non technologically aided and legal barter and trade. I like this business too but lately they all seem to...
