I absolutely LOVE this cafe! Whenever I start getting tired of staring at my four walls while studying, I know this is just the change of scenery I need. It is GORGEOUS inside and a cute cafe was the one thing Morristown was missing a few years ago.

The barista, Ray, is amazing - friendly, calm, and just excellent at customer service! I tend to be a creature of habit, and always order the same oat milk latte. When Ray suggested I try the Chagaccino (latte + adaptogen mushroom powder) because it pairs well with oat milk, it changed my life. I was suddenly super focused, without the coffee jitters. I had to look it up and ended up ordering some to add to my coffee at home. Rest assured, it tastes better when Lokl makes it but alas, it gives my coffee just a bit of sweetness without overpowering it. It's now my go to drink and I know I'm in for a great start to my day.

In general, the coffee here is just fantastic - and the only place I buy coffee from when I don't make a cup at home. My husband is a bit of a coffee connoisseur and when he came here for lunch with a friend, he remarked how "legit" the coffee was. His comment about most coffee places is "meh, weak" or "watery". FYI - he doesn't even drink Starbucks.

Super grateful to have this coffee...

Great Cafe with a Mediterranean vibe. Both times I've visited the place I was pleasantly surprised of the friendliness of the staff, and the cleanness of the place. Their deserts are delicious and one of a kind. They serve three different kinds of baklava, pistachio, walnut, and chocolate, and all three are equally mouthwatering But if you are a chocolate lover definitely go for the chocolate baklava, you will be in seventh heaven! The mini quiches are light and packed with flavor, the perfect addition to your morning coffee, although they are enjoyable any time of the day. Speaking of coffee, if you haven't tried the Freddo Cappuccino you don't know what you are missing! It has the right amount of ice to make the coffee refreshingly cold, but without taking away from the cappuccino flavor. I have also tried the yogurt with the honey and it's the real Greek yogurt, not the store bought one. Creamy enough, but light at the same time and so yummy! This is the type of a local coffee shop that every town needs and I am happy that they chose Morristown for their first...

My family and I tried LOKL a few days ago. Between the five of us, we all got to taste quite a bit of their goods. It’s hard to know where to begin, as everything was excellent. My personal favorite was the cheese pie, it was hands down the best I have ever tasted anywhere. A whole other level. Do not miss the bulgar salad with pomegranate- just delicious and so refreshing, or the avocado salad with baby shrimp in it- so very fresh. My son loved the mascarpone brownie, and took another piece home. I took home a slice of chocolate pie and it was so rich and delicious without being sweet and heavy. The main takeaway is that everything was so good and it totally had to do with the high-quality ingredients and chef know-how. The place itself is really charming with a beautiful look. There are various seating sections, well done, the coffee selection is fantastic (omg the coffee affogato...) and the staff is just super friendly. The menu is diverse so you can go for a meal, a snack, a dessert, or just coffee/tea. And yes, the chocolate baklava was...

This place was absolutely atrocious. The service was disgusting. Kacey the woman who worked at the shop was rude to both my brother who asked for a military discount, as well as my younger brother who they gave an allergic reaction to. BEWARE!!! The food is not labeled for allergens and the brownie despite having no nuts visible in it is made in the same place as everything else. There is a picture showing that they don’t label their allergen including food attached. My younger brother had an allergic reaction to the brownie and Kacey said “well did you tell the register?” and I responded with no he didn’t ask and the desserts were not labeled. Not even that, but when my older brother asked about the active duty military discount, she told him it should only be for him next time and not his family. We stayed while they refunded the cost of the brownie and Kacey said “You don’t have to be here.” Talk about absolute disrespect and horrible customer service. Literally disgusting. Don’t go here if you like getting treated like a human being.

Stopped in yesterday around 430 and it was super busy. There was only one person working who was handling both in person and uber/pickup orders. Not sure if its usually just one person but hopefully not, because the line and the wait was understandably long. The person taking orders was apologetic to everyone as there turn came up and very friendly. They did a great job given the situation. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk (strong smoky flavor - tasty), and iced matcha oat milk latte (also good), and a banana pudding - did have real bananas, but barely any cookie and the pudding was just okay. They offer an cookies ($6), sliced cakes ($6-$8), brownies, macarons, scones etc...all a little pricey IMO, but they did look good. They also offer sandwiches, soups, and sell bagged coffee, tea, and syrups. The atmosphere seemed pretty relaxed and they have lots of seating options instead and out. Would definitely go back and try other things. Stop by if you're in the area.
