Pal's Sudden Service — Restaurant in Morristown

I typically hold Pal’s in very high regard, but the last couple of times, my experience has really fell flat. I do admit, that my latest encounter was after church on a Wednesday night, around 8:15 PM, BUT they don’t close until TEN, soooooo the “They were about to close,” excuse doesn’t hold water. Sorry. Not tryin to be smart, it just is what it is.

FOOD: Ordered a Junior Pal, no cheese, no onion. (I actually like the taste of these vs. the Big Pal, anywho…) Bun was very stale (very unusual), and the patty was room temperature AT BEST. Please note, I ate IN THE PARKING LOT, so burger was a one ⭐️, AT BEST. Fries were, “meh” with several soggy ones. NOT my fav. Now, the Vanilla Shake was very good, so that was a win.

SERVICE: Not terrible, but not the usual chipper folks that you see during the day hours. I’d hate to see what ordering at 9:45 PM would get ya. 😬😬

OVERALL: M-Town is getting more and more choices in the burger and fast food arena. If I could go back tonight and do over, I’d go to McDonalds or maybe even Krystal’s, but it’ll be a minute before I try the evening hour Pal’s Sudden Service (or...

This is the third time I’ve had this issue for the same order. I ordered a big chicken plain Mayo lettuce and once again got the tomato and spicy mustard still on the sandwich. My receipt says I ordered plain Mayo lettuce, the wrapper of the sandwich says plain Mayo lettuce (or Pl MaL)…. So why is it every time whoever is on sandwhich #2 is making a full big chicken?

I used to work at a Pal’s, I understand there’s a rush area and mistakes are made- but 3 times all within close time span? I come home from work in Morristown to my home in talbott where this Pal’s is on the way. I should have and could have called it in to get a remade sandwich but I could live without it once or twice. Don't know what is going on with Pal's as it's usually good but twice in a row now they really messed up and to find better hires or pay better attention to their employees. They can't understand you in the drive thru or just don't want to listen because they're too busy playing instead of working. It's a job, not a private hangout. Have to change your order four times to get the right order because they can't understand what a double big pal with bacon and cheese is. Then they add an extra burger you didn't order and charge you for it but then don't give it to you. Don't give you bacon on any orders when you ordered bacon. Just awful.
