If you have never been to Piada you are missing out on a treat. The prices are self explanatory and affordable...$8 small bowl, $10 large bowl, $7 kids bowl (which is the same size as a small bowl) and it comes with a drink. The wraps idk since I didn't buy any and they also have salads. 2 Pasta Noodle types: Angel Hair Spagetti or Penne. 3 sauce types: Alfredo, tomato, or a spicy blend of both (don't try unless you can handle it). Also meats are about a $3 addition: steak, fried chicken, grilled chicken, fried spicy chicken (and it is HOT!). They carry something like a thinly rolled wrap with cheese or cheese and pepperoni inside (pictured in my photos). If you sign up for the free membership you get $5 off your next order. You can add any toppings (besides meat) for foc unless it's the cabinara as that comes with bacon. Taste like all the veggies are seasoned! Broccoli has flavor as well as zucchini. Get a square of parmesan garlic sauce on top (taste just like ranch, but they will say they don't have regular ranch only spicy ranch) or what ever other sauce you can add, I think it's used for salads and wraps but I get it on top of my pasta. Staff is great! Sometimes hard to hear behind the glass partitions. The seating was fine, about as large as a Zaxybys or any fast food resturant. Noodles are made fresh and meats also. However, you will likely have to wait as the meats are cooked to order. So everything would be in your bowl or wrap or salad except the meat. The staff did partially close the lid to keep the food hot while waiting on meat to complete. My food was certainly hot when I got it. Also kids meal included 1 meat for no extra charge. My kids loved it. Perfect location too, right near a large shopping center...if you appreciated this review, please give it a thumbs up 👍🏽took a bit to write but wanted to cover every aspect. 😁 And if someone at Piada reads this and wants to offer a free meal or 2, I will gladly accept. (The video listed was at the Raleigh location but used to show how the set...
Read moreSo I saw that Piadas was finally open and I wanted to try it. Walking in it instantly had a Subway and Chipotle vibe going. The menu looks great with plenty of options. After that, everything went downhill. I ordered a salad and a side of meatballs. (My substitute for soup and salad) There are two sizes of salads. Small and Reg. It's served in a different bowl but seems like the same proportioned amounts. Stick with the small salad. The meatballs were brought from the back and sauced in front of me. The pasta, that I did not order was sitting on the counter and looked dried up. Now for the taste...average or below. Meatballs are frozen which is fine I get it but we're not very good. I have had frozen meatballs I swear we're homade. These were beyond obviously not. Red sauce was ok but no flavor. Just cooked tomato. The salad was underwhelming at best. I would say that Chipotle and Subway are both better than here. My opinion of course. Two cooks brought food from a different restaurant in and we're eating it off to one side. That should tell you everything you need to know. Now here is the thing. This is not to put Piada's down. But I would say it totally depends on the expectations you have. If you like a blander style of food without a lot of flavor then this is your kind of place. If you are a foodie and want flavor, go somewhere else. I despise Olive Garden but hindsight I wish I would have gone there for lunch instead. Olive Garden would have been cheaper. There is a market for the people they are marketing toward. But I would NOT call this street food. Street food is typically homemade and will typically wow your pallette. Best of luck Piada's. I...
Read moreI enjoyed my lunch at Piada. While working nearby in Morrisville today, I sprung over during lunch hour. The staff was friendly and eager to serve. I decided on the Avocado Chopped Salad and added steak. I skipped the corn, as I do not consume this. The steak to my surprise was grilled fresh in front of me. I appreciated this. Many other similar restaurants have proteins sitting around all day, and I'm not a fan of that. I added a Parmesan Piada Stick to my order because it was sooo tempting. Everything was perfect today. My steak had delicious juicy lean cuts, perfectly sliced fresh avocado and the greens were delicious. The fresh almonds were a unique twist for added protein. The portions are huge ! Can be easily shared with another person. The Parmesan Piada Stick was delicious. I enjoyed the dough they used. Very crispy, crunchy and full of seasonings. A real treat. The blackberry hibiscus lemonade was refreshing and not overly sweet and sugary. Full of antioxidants and a fresh lemon.
I met Zachary the Senior Chef at checkout and another gentleman who wore a black chef uniform who placed my order. Zachary was very welcoming and kind. What I appreciated most is Piada's branding and packaging. The salad dressing holder on the bowl is excellent. The adorable euro style scooter is also very cute. The dining room is pretty standard with several stools and tables. This is convenient for anyone shopping in the large center. I will definitely return to sample the other menu items when in...
