I must say I am satisfied with the prices at K&G I have been going to the store for over 15 years buying suits. This particular store located in the Morrow area without a doubt displays a weak link within the store chain. On February 16 of this year 2019, I had the unpleasant experience of interacting with the manager. I will use initials (TW). I have been involved in conflict resolution for over 20 years in a professional setting, and clearly, K&G got it wrong placing her in a management position. This person clearly does not understand the concept and after reading pass post from other customers. Just a short time ago a customer identified as E Clark makes mention the horrible experience with the female manager. As I continue to read the reviews, another customer Daniel Walden also makes mention having a bad experience with a female manager just a short time after the previous customer. I could go on and keep mentioning the other negative comments that mention situations such as this, but I think the point is clear. After each comment, there were thank you's from what appears to be corporate management, and "I'm sorry for your trouble statement." They seem to be just empty word fillers with no meaning. This continues to happen. I am sure this is not a problem they feel needs to be addressed. At the time of my experience, less than a week before I came into the store and spent over $600 buying suits. I would have spent around $400 on this day but took everything back. I can't see another purchase such as that take place at any time in the future. Next time I will go down the sidewalk to D&K suits or Men's Wearhouse. Now to be clear this is not a reflection on all K&G stores that I have visited. I only commented on this particular store and as long as the manager as mentioned earlier (TW) is working at the store buyer beware. Details of the experience can be provided. If K&G cooperate does not want to subject customers to events such as this in the future. This manager will be removed and retained before interacting with customers. However, looking at the pass customer post, I don't think that it is possible after factoring in historical data. This has been brought to their attention and not corrected. By the way, we do read each other's...
Read moreThe clothes are a great value and they are starting to carry more reputable brands. The one star is in hopes of getting someones attention in management. Since the store has been under new management I see a dramatic difference in the way customers are treated, particularly by Asian salespeople and management. I have been ignored, followed in the store and talked down to by a woman in the shirts department. They are condescending and rude. I am a professional gentleman and conduct myself as such everywhere I go. The It seems obvious that they want the black dollar, just not the people who have it. Regardless of how bad you may want the product, you have to make people respect you, especially when you show nothing but respect.
Today I was with my daughter to return a shirt. The shirt was "slim fit" and to narrow in the midsection. It was a great price and made by a great designer. The lady that was in charge of staking out the shirt department asked me if a needed help. I said "no thank you, just looking for a shirt to replace my return". I told her it was a slim fit and to small for me, she laughed out of her extra small frame as if all americans are fat. I continued to look and she stared at me the entire time. She asked me my size and I told her it depends because I may need to get a 1/2 size larger depending on the cut and designer. As a went to the larger size she yelled " Dat not your size, your size here'. I ignored her and pulled out a shirt to get a closer look. She said " I put back, I put back, i put back (3x) You spill all aver floor if you do". No shirts were on the floor and the bin was stuffed with smashed shirts with missing cardboard.
It seems like we may be finally making progress in the country and I refuse to be talked to like that by anyone. OUR dollars pay their salary and we need to be respected as paying customers. I told her I would go to mens warehouse and pick it up or oder on line and left. I wanted to set an example for my daughter. Yes, it was cheaper and Yes, I could have had it sooner but I will not be talked down to just to save $10 bucks. Since so many of us shop there they can care less if they lose one customer but they will not...
Read moreI wouldn't give any stars but I have to in order to give a review. This K&G is located beside the Social Security office. The Social Security office lacks enough parking spaces for the people that have business to take care of there. Mind you, most of the people that are there are disabled. When there are no parking spaces at SSA, people tend to go to K&G and park at the rear of the building. Now it's not like there are a lot of cars there, in fact at the rear of the building there are no cars there ever. It is my belief that they take kickbacks for a booter to boot cars that park there, holding them ransom for $50. If you don't have $50 they will tow it. So if you don't have $50 cash but you have a debit card or credit card you can go walk to an ATM and get them some cash. Again the other option is to have your car towed, impounded, and be charged per day by the inpound lot. Now mind you again, most of these people are disabled and have to go walking to get cash and many can't walk or is difficult for them, or it's not recommended by their doctor. Most of us people make under $1000 a month who are disabled. Me and my boyfriend are both disabled and make about $700 each per month. He is 6 foot eight, so this is the store he likes to shop at. My car was booted there today. Myself and 3 others were trying to figure out what to do. One young man didn't have the money, so his only choice was to have his car towed and impounded and charge by the day. I felt so sorry for him because he will probably lose his car. We just don't have extra money to pay for things like that. I will be refusing to go into that store when I am with him. I will suggest a different store I would like to go to, and hopefully he will find something there and won't spend his money with K&G. It wouldn't hurt K&G one bit to allow cars to park in that parking lot. If they had a lot of customers and they were hurting for parking spaces I could understand it, but it's like they have no compassion for the disabled or the elderly and are not willing nor have the desire to be a help to society here in Clayton County. Poo-Poo on K&G. Please don't do business...
