Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Mount Airy

We were on vacation 11 hours from our house. They closed at 10 but deliver till 12. We were not going to get there till 10:02, so we waited a little to order. Ordered at 10:06, tracker said it was being double checked at 10:17. So 10:45 my husband calls he said they were just taking it out the tracker was wrong and itll be delivered in 10 to 20 minutes, our hotel was literally 3 minutes away. So we waited... 11:45 our delivery guy finally showed up. Pizza was not warm at all so pretty sure it was done at 10:17. Called corporate they told us it was independently owned so they had the "owner" (it was a manager) call us back and they said all they could do was give us a credit at their store for 2 pizzas.... we explained they are 11 hours away and most likely wouldn't be back and they said well it is saved under your phone number. Shorted a cup of garlic dipping sauce. Normally, I wouldn't complain about something this puny. However, I did pay extra for it. Over the past four months I've been shorted by every fast food restaurant I've stopped at. I've caught it several times before leaving. Other times I didn't realize it until I got home. I'm beginning to think it's intentional or people just aren't paying attention. Either way, if it's happening to me then it has to be happening to quite a few people. I've noticed some places now have signs requesting you check your order. I've been more diligent about it but not perfect. Additionally, the customer shouldn't have to do that. I just picked up my food that i ordered online, I mean really how hard is it to read some thing that the work has already been done for you. I after coming to pick my order up and having to tell the girl 4 times my name before she ever heard me. Because she clearly was not listening to try and hear me. I had ordered ranch and Mariana with my food and normally I don't complain about this but of course dominions charges for these so it cost me money regardless it 50 cent or 50 dollars it was not given to me. This has happened so many times at this location that I'm not even trying to argue with these people anymore.
