Big Lots — Local services in Mount Airy

Big lots in Mount airy North Carolina it's located just before you get 601 heading north from King on the side of highway 52. It is in a small shopping center what's Safeway foods a tobacco outlet of some kind and a part Rob service at the very end. There is a massive parking lot that really needs to be repaved that holds all of these places big lots is toward the end.

The store itself is a discount store it could really use to be updated in the front, the carrier's the usual items some things are cheaper and better quality summer more expensive in about the same as everybody Else.

the men's bathroom is a very large area inside with only one toilet, the door has a round whole where some strange-looking slide lock is present but if you really want to use to peak ride in to somebody which is not very settling, and the toilet c looks like it's been there for 30 years that really could be used to be replaced hint hint...

I don't know what it is with these chain stores restaurants and everywhere else are bathrooms are just terrible usually but it was overall clean and it wasn't pee all over the floor like some places in larger cities.

The two female employees working in the furniture section were very helpful friendly, we've been looking for a living room suit for about a week, the big lots on University had one that we liked but wanted to check the this one out since we were in the area, big lots vary from store to store on what they carry which is really annoying to a degree.

one of them even called the university location and inquired about the one we like but they did not have and that employee did not have any understanding of what we were talking about, typical really. But overall a good store has some discounted stuff and most of the time their furniture is within reasonable expectations and depending on your taste somewhere very...

There's a lot of cute stuff and the cashier was friendly, but they had probably the most disgusting bathroom I've ever been to. My Dad said the mens room had poo all over the toilet seat, so he walked right back out. In the womens room there are two stalls, one large and one small. The large one didn't have any toilet paper. The small one had such gross looking stuff on the walls, I don't even want to try to describe what some of that looked like. The toilet paper dispenser had this fluffy white looking stuff laying on the inside bottom of it (no, not toilet paper). There was white powdery looking stuff everywhere, almost like something white had been sanded and nothing was cleaned afterwards. The paper towel dispenser was empty and a big roll of paper towels was sitting on top of it. I noticed a sticker on the mirror saying they take pride in a clean restroom (laughable from what I saw) and to let them know if it needs attention... IT NEEDS ATTENTION, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year! Letting the bathroom be in such a nasty state really makes you not want to get anything from the store. Please clean/disinfect...

If I could give zero stars, I would. After talking to a furniture manager yesterday and also corporate customer service to double and triple check we would be allowed to return something, we came in today to make the return and were treated so incredibly rudely. We had spoken to different people yesterday and were assured the return wouldn’t be a problem. The snarky-ness and sarcasm of the furniture manager and the store manager actually shocked me. We purchased an outdoor gazebo that lasted less than a day. A tiny gust of wind flipped it and broke the metal frame, in spite of it being assembled and anchored correctly.
