I bought a new Nissan 2017 Rogue from here and I love the car but I hate the dealership. The sales people and services people are nice to you until they make the sale then they're attitude changes. Dwayne Venable was the one whom sold me the car said the price of it was going tobe $326.00 a month until I signed and then it was $368.00. my tires wore bald and the car has nothing more than 20,000 miles on it and I was told by mitch mabe that they put "soft tires" on the new cars and they only average around 20-24,000 miles but the second set , the ones I purchase will be better. nothing done. I also have a factory fog lens cover (plastic) that popped out on the passenger side bumper and I've talked to Jared in the service dept. (the kid is only 23 years old) and he said it is his experience that the car has been hit or hit something that made it pop out so therefore the warranty will not cover it and the boy is barely out of diapers..lol. but the car looks and is fine, no damage to the car, never hit anything...they just don't want to be an honest dealership and hold up their end of the deal. I highly recommend not to go here, go else where if you want a new car, like winston or shelor motor mile in christianburg,va. unless you want to tango with some snakes.
Update 2/22/19 5:05pm Seth from Simmons Nissan called me and said that they read this review here and decided to TERMINATE the relationship between me and them thus forfeiting the 100,000 mile free oil change that came with the purchase of my car. if that isn't dirty salesmanship then I don't know what is....I really got screwed with this deal from this dealership...I guess thats what I get for being honest.... I wish now that I never met anyone at this dealership and went somewhere else myself....this will be the last Nissan I own. I highly recommend anyone reading this to go else where, I promise you, it will be worth it and you'll thank me later.....
The pictures below is of my car that i purchased from them. the factory cover for the fog light popped out and they said the warranty will not cover it due to the car being hit or hitting something. as you can see, my car is fine, it has not been hit or hit anything...Simmons Nissan just don't want to uphold their agreement to me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB & FTC & now the Nissan corporate office has called and offered me 275 dollars towards fixing my car if I pay the labor charges but I got to go to another Nissan dealership over a hour & half away since Iam no longer welcomed at Simmons Nissan or if I choose I can still accept the offer & make the repair myself & void my car's warranty . Beware to buyers, Honestly, everything will seem great until something goes wrong and if you leave a negative review on them, they will tell you not to come back to the dealership and cancel oil changes or whatever comes with your car that you...
Read moreAdam, salesman was great. He worked with us to the best of his ability to get the deal we wanted. He was very fast to communicate and get back to us with the info we requested. The GM was also good as far as willing to work with us on the deal we made. However, the very disappointing experience we had was when we noticed damage to the car's rim and tire after we had left the dealership. It was small and hard to notice, but as soon as it was noticed it was immediately brought to Adam's attention and pictures of the damage were sent to him, and he did his duty and relayed it to his manager. The manager did nothing to make this right, and offered no assistance even though this was a brand new vehicle we purchased and it had obviously been damaged at some point in the 218 miles it had been driven previous to us purchasing it. We even came to the service dept the next day and showed the damage to the GM, and nothing was done to even attempt to correct the issue, and we were even charged the full price of the car mats we came to purchase. This is just very frustrating considering when you leave the car lot with a brand new vehicle that you are paying a pretty penny for, you want it to be exactly that, brand new. You don't want to have dents and dings that were not caused by you. And if this is something that is brought to the dealership's attention the next day after purchasing it, there should be something done to make this right. That would be the only reason I would rate our experience with Simmons Nissan below average.
To reply to your response:
Thanks for taking the time out to respond, Caleb. I understand that the car had an inspection done by one of your service team members, but I'm sure that person was indeed a human who could've overlooked something that was miniscule, just as my husband and I didn't notice it the day we looked it over and test drove it at the dealership before we left with the vehicle. I appreciate you trying to explain yourself and I fully get the rationale, it is just unfortunate for the ones who bought the car and are stuck with damage not...
Read moreI live in Rural Retreat, VA., I love the Nissan Brand, everyone in my family owns Nissans and from this point on...We will ALL gladly make the trip to Mt Airy, NC. for ALL of our service, accessory and purchase needs.!!! Now I will explain why: I was leasing a 2020 Rogue Sport for my wife. I FINALLY found a 2019 Frontier with a six speed manual transmission and wanted to buy it. I wanted to turn my lease back in to the dealership where we had leased the Rogue and pay the difference and buy the manual truck that I had found at the dealership where I now work. I also already own a 2021 Frontier Pro 4X that I wanted my wife to have. Should have been an easy and painless process for all involved. The dealership refused to allow me to ground the lease with them. I then reached out to Simmons Nissan and spoke with the GSM, Kyle. He immediately got the ball rolling and in no time at all... It was a done deal. His professionalism, attention to detail and customer service was just outstanding!!! I can tell that he is not just going through the motions of the job, but actually really is dedicated to the needs of the customer. He even recommend the best places to eat before we headed back to Virginia. He introduced me to his sales staff and also introduced me to the Service and Parts Department as well. I am in the same buisness, so I appreciate these things which are sometimes left undone at many dealerships. ALL in ALL... He performed EXACTLY how a manager should, made us feel appreciated and I feel he went above and beyond to absolutely ensure our experience with Simmons was excellent and by doing so, has earned my business from this point on, not to mention earning the buisness of all my friends and family, who in total add up to 11 Nissan owners in all. THANK YOU KYLE... NISSAN NORTH AMERICA should use your example for all of the training courses and as a manager as well as a customer I know, appreciate and respect the level at which you conduct yourself. You definitely lead by example for those who work with you!!!! You can't help but have a...
