I had seen this place on Tik Tok so tonight my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. Man, I am SO glad we did. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a friendly welcome and a smile. I was surprised to see that they serve both Hispanic cuisine and Asian with a little American thrown in. There is so much to choose from, they have a big selection. I decided to go with a grilled chicken taco salad with lettuce, fajita veggies, queso, cheese, hot salsa, corn salsa, and sour cream. It was delicious! All those flavors just come together and work beautifully. You don't have to worry about portions here they load it up. I almost couldn't finish it but mama didn't raise no quitter! It was the perfect amount of spice with that savory perfectly seasoned chicken. The sour cream gives it a little tang and coolness to balance the spice. The queso was really good, will definitely get that again. The tortilla was perfectly fried with a buttery goodness to it. It was fresh and crisp. And still had some of my sauces from my meal on it. Absolutely delicious!
My boyfriend got the Nashville Hot burrito and said it was the best burrito he has ever had. It was huge. You don't have to worry about going home hungry when you eat at this place.
The atmosphere is pretty chill: good music, minimalist decor, plenty of sitting space.
We will definitely be back and I urge you if you haven't tried...
Read moreThe owner doesn’t take criticism well. My husband and I visited after I saw several TikToks claiming that it was better than Chipotle. I was looking forward to trying it especially seeing they had generous portion sizes in their videos. It could've been an off day for the worker but the portion size of my bowl was nothing impressive. Our meal came out to be nearly $50 which is even more than Chipotle. After still seeing videos on social media and comments regarding the “generous” portion sizes, I commented that those servings are only for views on social media and my personal experience with them unfortunately did not match. The owner responded asking for the name of the worker which at that point it had been at least 6 months since our visit there. There’s no way I could remember and then he claimed that I was only trying to bash their business. He also said that he hadn’t received any complaints which although we were disappointed, it wasn’t worth the complaint at the time. We simply have never been back. Before I could even respond, the owner blocked me on TikTok. Since I’m local and pass it nearly everyday, I was considering giving them another chance but after this interaction, I would much rather spend my money...
Read moreThe flavors are really good here, toppings are a little limited compared to Moes and BlueCoast. At Moes you get free chips and salsa, here that will cost you extra. And they are all about some add-ons. Like I expect Queso to cost extra, however when I ordered there last time the lady making my food said "Queso or cheddar cheese or both?" I was expecting cheddar cheese to be shredded cheddar. But instead it was Queso and then the fake nacho cheese that goes with nachos you get at the ball park. And it was a upcharge for queso and the fake cheese. Which is fine, offer whatever you like and think people will eat. But when you say "would you like [topping]" and that topping is extra follow that up with "for a dollar more?" Like they do at every other place that follows the same mechanics. I also heard them say "would you like grilled veggies on that?" To another person. Guess what, that was extra also. You could say this information is obviously on the menu and I agree and it's right infront of the customer when they order. But not everyone studies the menu like it's a algebra text book the night before a finals test. It's OK to nickel and dime people, as long as you make it very clear it's a nickel...
