After reading many good reviews, we stopped in. I had the lamb gyro with a cucumber salad. My wife had the Wednesday special - chicken spinach spanakopita. We also got a piece of baklava, which we shared while waiting on our food. The baklava was quite dry and tasted like a stale refrigerator. Our food arrived and the lamb gyro was okay. The lamb wasn't the standard thinly sliced lamb off of a processed chub on a rotisserie, but instead was the same size and consistency of fajita steak. They bring it in fresh and trim it onsite. It was juicy and tender, but the meat wasn't hot, it was lukewarm, and that traditional Greek flavoring wasn't there. There was that strange hint of stale refrigerator taste again so I picked a piece of lamb off. The taste wasn't coming from there. It was coming from the pita and the lettuce. My wife's chicken was very very dry and I'm glad I didn't get the grilled chicken gyro. Sweet tea was good. Staff were friendly. I did call the manager and gave feedback. We'll try it again and i'll...
Read moreThe place was spotlessly clean, the service was very friendly and professional. The food was excellent, but the reconstituted lemon and lime juice on the Basmati rice tasted a little off. I had the Lamb Gyro. It tasted fantastic, but the portions are VERY SMALL. When I wanted to order one more sandwich, I was told that it’s not possible just to order a sandwich—-you have to pay $10 and get the measles portion of chips and the small bowl of rice, too. Every other Mediterranean restaurant where I have eaten Gyros put a lot more meat in them. These people really scrimp on the sandwich ingredients. Eat something before you come and enjoy the restaurant and the service. I ordered the Hummus after the meal so I could have a little something else. This is also the most expensive Hummus you will find for such a small Greek prison portion. Gyros elsewhere $5-$6. Gyros here:$10 and 1/3 the meat. The food is great, but they are very, very stingy with the portions. The four stars are for the service and cleanliness, not really the whole...
Read moreWasn't even worth a star. I was super excited about a Mediterranean cuisine spot coming though this area. Its a brand new place so take this review how you will. First and for most is the price! Unbelievable how expensive it was. I got the Grilled Lamb. Side rice was very dry. Meat wasn't cooked well in my opinion. I had them once before last week and it was bad. There sandwich buns are soggy. Atmosphere was pleasant though. Doesn't feel like a place I could bring a family to at all, mostly because I would spend close to a hundred for a family to eat. Staff was okay. No real interaction. Cashier was very pleasant. Cooks were waiting for direction of some kind. Overall, not satisfied. I've had Greek food, its one of my favorites. This was by far the worse. Something like a Pyramids which is a small franchise are much much better. Very well priced, friendly every time, and the food taste unbelievable. Hope this place improves,...
