We stopped by this Baskin Robbins to get milkshakes on a hot day. The lady behind the counter took my husband and his son's order and started to make the milkshakes. There was an older lady who come over and asked who was next. I told her that my son and I hadn't been waited on. She asked if we were all a family which I said yes. She said she was going to help another man who had just walked before us because we were a family and the other lady could get us. The man said to take care of us first but she didn't. After she served the man, I told her that I thought it was rude to just ignore me and that she should have served the people who were there first. The male manager/ owner got very irritated then told me that is how they serve people and basically I was wrong to think I should have been served first. That he had been in business for 26 years and he had no problem with his clients. I told him that I had been in business for over 30 years and would never be that rude and wouldn't pass someone up who had been waiting for 15 minutes before another client. He got really mouthy to me in which I said let's let social media decide??? He clearly didn't like that and gave us the milkshakes for free. I tried to pay for them but I guess he felt that if we got free milkshakes that I wouldn't speak out of social media??? From some of the other comments on here, I am not the only one who had...
Read moreMy family and I were visiting in Charelston for the week and on a Tuesday night we were hungry for some ice cream. We asked a few locals and they said that it was the best place, however, we had gotten there 5 minutes until they closed which means that they were not yet closed. Yet as soon as we walked in the doors the girl immediately said hi and said that they are about to close and we said ok we will be quick. So as we started ordering after every order she would say ok who's next we are closing. There were 8 of us and so we all had to look and decide what kind of ice cream we wanted. Normally my father would not say anything but he actually had to call her out and say that she was being rude. She got better for a few minutes but then she became extremely rude by telling us that we can not eat inside because they were closed. I understand that they wanted to go home and that they were tired but I work in retail and even though she might have been tired she should have still been nice and...
Read moreVery unhappy and unpleasant young lady working this Sunday night. She did not say âhi, what can I get you?â or anythingâŚ. She just death stared me through my very soul. I said âhiâ. Nothing. She continued to death stare me. So I said âhow are you?â To my astonishment she actually answered and said âgood, how are you?â My goodness, she was âgoodâ. Certainly could have fooled me. My dad and I both wanted large milkshakes but was told they were running out of ice cream and could only do smalls. Not much of a big deal. Whatever. Itâs just a milkshake. We got the smalls. I got a cherries jubilee and it tasted watered down to the core. I remember going to this place⌠this very same location in the 90s and it was bomb. Now not so much. My dad thanked this unhappy young woman for our drinks and she said nothing. No âyouâre welcomeâ. âHave a good dayâ. Nothing. I donât care so much about the watered down milkshake as much for this young womanâs rotten attitude. I will not...
