We really enjoyed our meal here! Seated immediately at peak hours on a Wednesday evening when busy! A clean, large restaurant interior and a comfortable patio with a number of tables for dining. Indoor/outdoor bar was also available. The Steak Jalisco was a tender ribeye with perfectly sautéed mushrooms and onions with a specialty sauce on top. Perfect amount of seasoning. The grand burrito Mexicana was filled with meat and very flavorful. The spinach dip was much different than expected but we were pleasantly surprised with the flavor. The texture was a little watery for our liking but still tasty. We finished our meal with flan which had a rich rum sauce on top. It was great, but a less creamy flan than we are used to. The churros were cooked to perfection and came out fresh from the fryer! My pineapple ginger margarita was made with a fresh margarita base with a mild ginger flavor. The prices here were perfect for a casual weekday date night. Nicole took great care of us. The food runners were moving quickly and manager politely was checking on tables during our time dining. We will...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews. So closing time was 10pm, we got there about 8:40pm. afew ppl working the front we didn't get greeted just seen and blatantly ignored. My partner and i sat ourselves at the bar. To spend over $100 w típ. I probably would go somewhere w better service. 2nd time there and service hasn't improved. The food was great so were the drinks. I do want to add for the owner to consider adding cheese to the torta, as we got there in the first place craving just that. Anyway our bartender was okay, but again, Agave for that price you go to have a good time and drinks, or listen to good music not deal w smart remarks/ young teens who don't take their job seriously. I would only consider going back for the house margarita/drinks and if i'm ever bored of the mex restaurants around mt pleasant. It's just a headache for me when it's not that hard to give service. To spend about $110, i can go to rio and enjoy my night out away from my baby at peace for half of the price. Food was fresh and you do get what...
Read moreWas super excited to check this place out while on a trip to SC. We sat outside, which was the best part of the experience. Loved the seating and the beautiful string lights! Unfortunately the food just wasn't that good. The chips and salsa were a perfect start, but it went downhill from there. Our server disappeared after bringing drinks and chips and we eventually had to go inside to find someone to take our order. I had the tacos al pastor and they were okay. I also got rice and beans on the side and it was one of the first times I didn't finish Mexican rice and beans at a restaurant. The beans just had an off taste and the rice was super bland. My friend had the fajita quesadilla and it definitely was not a quesadilla - it was stuffed way too full and she couldn't pick it up. She said the flavor wasn't that good regardless. Overall, we were disappointed with the food and the...
