Charleston Sports Pub — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Memorial weekend I tried Charleston Sports Pub in Mt Pleasant SC and it was so good I went back a second night. 1st night, Emilia suggested for my Fish N Chips order to have sweet potato tater tots with parm and it was delicious, fish and tots were crisp and homemade tartar sauce were amazing. The cost of the ice-cold beer was different in the computer from the menu, my check was corrected and Emilia apologized for the unknown mix up. Great service, music was familiar and the large tv’s had all kinds of sports available to watch. All the employees enjoyed working with each other and helping each other out with large table orders.

2nd night, Christine was able to figure out which beer I wanted when I couldn’t remember the name, teriyaki wings and the same tater tots. Food was again perfectly prepared and served. Christine was welcoming and engaging especially during the Trivia Games. LOL! Music again was familiar and you could still carry on a conversation without shouting at each other. I enjoyed the fun sports pub atmosphere. Loved the Trivia Games as I learned a thing or two! So, two nights in a row, great food, atmosphere, music and service is not a fluke. Beer Mystery solved, yes, as with all things the price of some menu items was increased and the night before I was accidently given the old menu. I commend Christine and the manager for being honest about the mistake, and they even apologized for the mix up again. My visit was so enjoyable I totally understand the increase and enjoyed my visit. In this day and age to be treated with respect and honesty is a positive experience, I will definitely be back the next time I am in town. Remember it’s the Charleston Sports Pub, Mt Pleasant, SC. Monday night is burger night - highly advertised, even on the bathroom wall. You would think the restaurant would be prepared for it. We ordered 2 burgers and a side salad. There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant and a few people at the bar, so our expected wait time was about 30 minutes for our order. I have been in restaurant management and in the industry for over 12 years, so I have more patience than most. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes to get our burgers. When annoyed, our server stated that there were 45 burgers ordered from Uber Eats. Every place I have worked- has prioritized dine in orders FIRST. If they are having a promotion, they should be staffed to handle the intensity of the orders. The server kept saying it was coming out right now, being plated up right now - and that made it worse too - when the order wasn't ready. The salad came out about 20 minutes after the burgers, when it should have came out first - or at least with the meal. It took almost 2.5 hours from entering to leaving and we were 2 hours from home - trying a local place, before heading back. The food tasted okay, fries were great, but asked for well done and got between medium and medium well. Ate it anyway. The server knew we were upset, but we never saw a manager or apology. Do not recommend.

We stumbled on this great gem while visiting the area. It's located at the end of a shopping center. There are a few hotels in the area that are within walking distance to this good eatery. My husband and I ended up eating here twice in one day not just because it was convenient but all of the food was really good plus the first time we went in for lunch our server Rashon was very attentive. My husband a cheeseburger that was thick, cooked just right and seemed to be hand pattied. I had the wings that were meaty and NOT dried out from being over cooked. For a late night snack we sat in the bar area that was very busy. We split an ordered of cheese fries thinking that we would not eat all of them because the order was hugh but they were so good we almost ate the whole order. They have outdoor seating in front of the restaurant in addition to outside seating outback with tvs to watch sports.
