I don’t normally write reviews but y’all should’ve seen the way I scarfed up every morsel of this sandwich. I need to write an ode to mozzo deli. If this place has 10000 fans I am one of them. If this place has 100 fans I am one of them. If this place has 50 fans I am one of them. If this place has 0 fans, I am dead. I killed this thing in 5 minutes and I now want to come here daily. I know I will dream of this sandwich as I fall asleep tonight and every night. The Creek Sandwich on ciabatta (add avocado) from Mozzo Deli was $13 but man was it worth every bite and more. I would pay $500 to experience this sandwich for the first time again. It is an unparalleled masterpiece, weaving together the finest elements in a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate. The succulent turkey, impeccably fresh greens, sharp cheddar, crisp apple slices, and the ethereal Green Goddess dressing are harmoniously layered between two slices of artisanal bread.
From the first bite, it's a revelation – a gastronomic journey that transcends the ordinary. The turkey, tender and juicy, melds seamlessly with the crunch of the greens, creating a textural wonderland. The cheddar adds a bold note, perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the apple, creating a chorus of taste sensations that are nothing short of divine.
The Green Goddess dressing, a celestial elixir, elevates the entire experience to new heights. Its herbaceous notes and creamy texture intertwine with the other ingredients, leaving an indelible mark on the taste buds. Each bite is not just a meal; it's an ode to culinary excellence.
The staff at Mozzo Deli, with their warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, enhance the dining experience. Their friendly demeanor transforms a simple lunch into a memorable affair. It's as if the sandwich is not just prepared but crafted with love and passion, creating an ambiance that lingers long after the last bite.
In the grand tapestry of sandwiches, the Creek Sandwich stands as a magnum opus, a testament to Mozzo Deli's commitment to culinary brilliance. To declare it the best sandwich ever is not an exaggeration but a humble acknowledgment of its unrivaled perfection. It's a symphony for the taste buds, a culinary crescendo that echoes in the memory, making every other sandwich pale...
Read moreNice employees, owner is a complete joke, rude, manager screamed at me for wanting a refund after waiting 30 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese. I asked the girl at register for refund, she then asked the manager and I heard him say "were super busy I'm not doing a damn refund they'll have to wait" so that's when I said "I can't get a damn refund, not my fault y'all cant make a bagel" he Started throwing a fit in the store and slamming food on ground. Several employees came to apologize saying he does it often but there is nothing they can do about it. Straight up crazy. Also the wait times are unbelievably long for already made food. Also just look at any negative review and see how the owner immaturely responds and never takes accountability, it's always someones fault never his. Youre pathetic. Literally someone said they couldn't eat their sandwich so they gave it to their dog and your response is "my dog loves it" are you kidding?? Jesus Christ man own up to something. Every time an order is wrong "we have new employees" is always your excuse. How about don't be crazy and maybe keep some employees for a while, you own it right? You're in charge, there should be no excuses bub
To owner response: good thing you are not a detective because me posting a review today doesn't mean the problem occurred today, thought that would be easy enough. But yet again here you are responding like an idiot vs taking any...
Read moreI revised my below to a one star. We finally got food (a sandwich and French toast) after an hour. It took 25 minutes to get to the counter and there were only six people in front. While waiting an older lady came up and asked when her food would be ready and the surly guy who always works the counter responded that her food would be ready “sometime between now and when your food is ready”. You’d be better off at IHOP than this place.
Original review:The only reason it gets two stars is because of the food. This place has been around for a long time and has consistently gone downhill in terms of customer service. They know you like the food and they know you’ll wait in line to get it. Don’t even think about coming here on a weekend. You’ll wait at least 20 minutes just to order while the staff mosey around aimlessly as if there isn’t a line wrapped around the restaurant. Then you’ll wait at least half an hour to get your food. And we are taking about egg sandwiches and turkey melts, we aren’t making steak au poivre here. I love the food and a lot of the staff have been around for a really long time but they’ve become a victim of their own success and stopped caring about what made them last so long in the first place -...
