Señor Tequila's — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

My wife order the burritos deluxe which is supposed to be 2 combination burritos, one with chicken and beans and the other beef with beans. They only brought one burrito which was just beef, no beans inside. We tried to get the to correct it and bring us both the correct burritos. They brought 2 burritos one chicken and one beef no beans inside the beans were brought on a separate plate. We talked with 2 different people. Neither spoke the greatest English so I don't think they understood what we were trying to say. The correct price for the correct burritos deluxe was $10 and some change listed on the menu. The burritos deluxe that was rung up on the receipt was 2 different burritos deluxe and $7 and some change. This tells me that they do not know their own menu and something is messed up in the computer as well. Because of the language barrier I gave up trying to get it corrected. Was not too happy about this visit and normally have no issues...

Upon arrival at 5pm on a Tuesday, we stood at the entrance for a couple minutes, nothing to get upset about.

A gentleman walks up and asks how many, I said two. He told us, literally, sit wherever you want, while waving his hand dismissively. We walked in and found a table. A young lady brought us some chips and salsa, then disappeared.

Five or seven minutes pass and I'm about to just leave when the same lady pops by to take our drink order. I must have offended her when I asked politely for a menu as we weren't offered one from the guy who had us sit wherever.

She rolled her eyes and went and got us two menus then brought our drinks to us. Then another five minute wait while no one is in the place.

A new lady shows up and takes our order. She was OK.

All in all... the food was underwhelming at best, I've had better food, and service, at taco bell. This was our first time at señor tequila, and it's...

I had to deal with 4 people before getting my to go order. Sad part was the staff didn’t notify me when the food was done, if I hadn’t noticed a black bag on an empty table I would had been waiting for a lot longer. Server got mad because I didn’t tip. Dude I did my to go order and listened to the time restriction as to when it would be done or complete if you guys were attentive to me and my order I would have tipped. Do Your jobs and you would get what you deserve. In this case you got exactly what you deserved.
