I am a Starbucks FANATIC, however even though I love Starbucks, this location has definitely gone downhill in the past couple of years. I have come to this location a lot as it is the Starbucks that is closest to me, but after this morning, I am just going to go to Gilmer or someplace else entirely. I guess that āJayceeā, or whatever her name was, at the window was new or something because when she handed me my very HOT caramel macchiato, the lid was not on properly and the entire drink went all over my side and my car. I did call the store and they were like āyou can get a free drinkā - that is so beyond the point. A free drink will not treat the blotchy red burn mark on my skin or make the pain go away. Or get the sticky caramel off of my car and out of my seat cushion. In twenty-five+ years of coming to Starbucks, this has literally never happened to me before.
Also, I order the same exact drink (same recipe) and I have ordered the same drink for over ten years: a hot Venti Skinny Caramel Macchiato with 7 pumps of the sugar-free vanilla, upside down (stirred). Yet somehow at THIS location, it always tastes different. There is only one barista at this location that has consistently made my drink correctly.
This locationās saving grace is its individual baristas: when Jessica and Mike (Michael?) work the drive-thru I never have any issues. And Amy, who works afternoons/nights is amazing - she has always made my drink perfect.

Go figure. If I order a soda with lite ice from a fast food place they donāt fill the cup half way with soda. So the manager of the shift thought it better to argue with me instead of top off my $6 coffee. Whatever. Apart from that I asked for the sweet cream on the side because I have to be very careful with my sugar intake and the guy taking the order said no problem but when I got to the window they had put the cream in it. I had to go around and go inside to try to get it fixed and the manager after refusing to accommodate lite ice yelled for me to āhave a blessed dayā as I walked off obviously aggravated. Save your passive aggressive comments for someone else. I didnāt stop at Starbucks for a blessed day, I came for coffee. We all know yelling that at someone after a disagreement is about the same as saying āf youā. As I said Iāve been to to s of different Starbucks across the country.
