I stopped into Tazikiās Charleston in Mount Pleasant and ordered the lamb rice bowl with a side of red potatoes. The flavor overall was good, but the lamb was unfortunately overcooked and very chewy. My potatoes also didnāt come out with the meal, and I had to flag someone down to get them. When they did arrive, they were unseasoned and sitting in what seemed like plain butter or oil, which was a little disappointing.
That being said, the staff was responsive once I asked for help, and the food still had a nice flavor overall. I just wish the portion size and consistency of the food matched the price point a bit better.

Do not ask your customers to pay a tip with one of the handheld charge devices with 15, 20, or 25% options clearly displayed and with unclear āno tipā options. While this deceitful method is used by many restaurants these days, none that I have visited have asked for the tip before the customer has received any service or food!
The lamb meat used for making a gyro at Tazikiās was overcooked chunks, not the traditional ground lamb pressed into a spit, heated and carved. This is the traditional way to make a gyro and was what I expected when paying...
I normally never leave reviews, but this has to be one of the best quick service restaurants Iāve ever had in my entire time living in mount pleasant. The food is so fresh and is so GOOD. The service is always really good and timely and honestly you know the food is gonna be good you donāt really care anyway. I even door dashed and they packaged everything extremely well to keep everything fresh.
