I'm so done with this location. They need to teach their barristas the difference between a wet and a dry cappuccino, especially since they are options they offer. For the 3rd time, I've ordered a WET cappuccino, Venti (Italian word that means '20'), and when I received it, it felt empty. Starbucks cold Venti drinks are supposed to be 24oz & hot are 20oz. This had barely 10oz in the drink. The 2nd time thus happened I said something & the manager was there & wanted to argue with me about the definition of wet vs. Dry, until I pulled it up on Starbucks website. After that, knowing she was wrong, she still did not offered a discount, offer to add more to my drink or remake it, and instead took the narcissist approach and said "Wet or dry, it's how we decide to make it." Great customer service. (sarcasm) I had a family member recently move here & went to the same location where they had a similar experience yet was so put off by management response that they said they'll never go back. They also said they could tell the employees seemed afraid to speak up on their behalf, knowing they (customer) were right, and one even quietly apologized. My previous incident was months ago, so maybe management has changed & this most recent one is just a coincidence, but when a customer pays almost $7 for a 20oz beverage, there better not be 10oz in the cup. I won't be letting this location take any more of my money, plus give me a condescending attitude when I simply and politely...
Read moreBeen having a rough week. Lost my grandma and had to put my dog down on Monday. Finally left the house to get some coffee for my sister and mom. I can’t drink coffee bc I’m 8 months pregnant. All was going fine, I ordered 2 coffees and 2 orders of egg bites. The total was $29. I pulled around and realized I didn’t have my card but I keep cash in the car. The blonde (long braid) informed me that they didn’t have $70 in the store to break my $100 and that I’d have to order $40 in order to pay cash. So I added a coffee. She hands me the first HOT coffee and I noticed the lid was cracked so I tried to grab it while fastening the lid. The coffee spilled ALL over my pregnant belly, all in every button in my car, down the inside and outside. I now have to go get my car detailed. She didn’t apologize or show any signs that she even cared. She handed me 3 napkins and acted annoyed as she wiped her little window counter. It was 100% her fault. Then she just added foam and handed the hot coffee back in the same cup and told me to “have a good day”. I have never been more upset with a human being in my life. I’m a mtp local and get coffee here for my mom almost daily. I will NOT be going back. The Starbucks on Houston Northcutt is much better. Very friendly staff that isn’t rushing you off. No matter how you’re starting your day, the one by the bridge will always help start your day...
Read moreSo close to right. Staff was great and fast buutt (3.5 stars really) They are doing double work or making customers unhappy but don't know it. I'm here on vacation and it's the only actual Starbucks that is open before 8. The first day I ordered a flat white I received what looked like a poorly made latte. They made it again but I had to ask for extra foam to ensure there was any and then not enough coffee. The foam is important on a flat white and the risto shots. For me, I shake sugar on the top of the firm foam so it's important to my drink experience. The second time I went in on Tuesday the girl got it 100% right! 3rd time, again I received what looked like a limp overly milky latte. Clearly the staff needs retraining on their flat white, they are getting the resto shots wrong or they are not doing the risto shot at all. They came out over milky and with zero foam. I didn't have them remake the 3rd time. Synopsis: the people need to be retrained for their flat whites, they are sad and tasteless. Outside of that, the staff was pleasant and the location was clean and service was fast. However, I don't care how fast the service is, if my coffee is not right and there's a pressure to not correct staff as a customer, please help your staff do better...
