Orchid Massage & Reflexology — Local services in Mount Pleasant

I called and made an appointment, requesting a deep tissue massage. Arrived a few minutes early, told them my name and appt time, was directed to the room with no greeting or anything (no words spoken) and the door was closed behind me. Okay, no problem. I know the drill because I have to maintain a schedule of massages to keep my mobility. After 30 minutes, I tried to get their attention by saying excuse me. ( they were right outside the door, I could hear talking for the last 30 minutes so I assumed he could hear me) Nothing. I waited 20 more minutes, got up and wrapped up and went to the door. I got a serious ugly look and a little attitude when I opened the door and ask politely if my appointment had been cancelled that I had been waiting 50 minutes or…. A girl rushed in then and said “I do it, light medium or hard” I attempted to let her know my issues/needs… she didn’t really listen but started immediately . She seemed tired and used mostly her forearm. It was a pretty nice back rub, but it’s definitely not what I made an appointment for nor what I needed. Ok whatever, I am now almost an hour behind on my schedule, so I go to pay… He Said it was a accident, I said ok, understanding mistakes happen, however they should be accompanied by a sincere apology and responsibility for wasting my time. I was charged full price, $65, plus an extra $5 for using a debit card. Apparently it’s a new fee as I have been a customer for over a year and had not been charged it before.

VERY DISAPPOINTED in the whole experience!!

*oh, the icing on the cake was when He told the girl I left her a $7 tip, she HUFFED! Yes, out loud!!!

Not sure exactly what’s happening there but in previous months it’s been very good! After reading other recent comments and having this experience…I DO NOT RECOMMEND...

Terrible customer service. Made an appointment thru email from the website on September 7th for September 12th for 11am. Arrived on the 12th for 10:45am to be told I did not have an appointment. I showed the guy the email where they confirmed the date and time and all he said was we can take you at 12:30. There is no one to greet you when you come in so you have to stand and talk to the people who are actively massaging clients and giving your phone number out loud in front of everyone. Very unprofessional place. I walked out to never ever return after driving 30 minutes away from home for a birthday massage. Upside is I found another place that could take me as soon as I walked in the door and the price was better! Try ABC Massage In...

This was the worst, most odd experience I've ever had getting a full body massage. "Tim" was very rough and did the entire massage at 100 mph. Not relaxing at all! Even hurt in many areas. My husband had a massage in the next room and described his massage as painful! His therapist was literally up on her tip toes digging her elbows in his back. She answered the telephone more than once during the massage and left the room three times during the 60 min massage. When we went to leave "Tim" ASKED for a tip before we were able to even leave one on our own.
