Starbucks — Restaurant in Mount Vernon

UPDATE This Starbucks has improved significantly. The location is still difficult to access but the great service and friendly staff make it worth going to. They always get the orders correct. I (we) have a couple of complex orders for out coffee and tea. They always get it right. The Trenta Black Iced Tea (light ice, no added water, no liquid cane sugar, 3 splenda and light lemonade) is made the same everytime. It is mad perfectly regardless of who makes it. There are NO little errors like before, when you order no foam you get no foam, etc. A year ago. I gave it 3 stars because of the mediocre service and errors in the orders. Now it deserves all 5 stars. Classic great coffee and service. The location is right where I need a Starbucks. The access is still difficult. Plan to enter Safeway's parking lot or O'Riley's parking lot to access the Starbucks. And plan on great service. Previous Review I like Starbucks. I don't particularly like this one. Location problem, service problems, etc. It has poor access for the drive through and almost no parking. The staff is friendly, but cannot seem to get a drink right two times in a row. We rarely go to Starbucks. I was given a gift card (next time I'll just re-gift the card) I ordered a lemonade. My husband ordered a latte with oatmilk. They are out of oatmilk so he said do not make that latte. We'll just have the lemonade. Cashier said Okay. We waited way to long in drive through line. When it was finally our turn to pay we used the gift card and the cashier said we gave 3 dollars left to pay. (I didn't know how much was on the gift card) so we paid the rest with a 20 dollar bill. Cashier then handed us our change and 2 drinks. We informed her we only ordered one drink. Then she said "oh it's the car behind you. They ordered something similar" The cashier knew she charged us for 2 drinks and did not attempt to refund us. So I asked for a receipt. That's when a supervisor or a cashier with more experience came to help her. That cashier gave us our refund. I will never visit...

"The best customer friendly Starbucks in Mount Vernon. (Yes, I would know I been to all of them!) This one really cares about making sure your drink of excellent quality! If it's not, they will remake it, just let them know!" Previously, (see above) I wrote a review saying this was my favorite Starbucks in town. Recently, the drinks can now be compared to the poor ones made inside Starbucks in Safeway. Whether they have new baristas who don't know what their doing or the same old ones who getting lazy, that will remained a mystery.
