Taco Bell — Restaurant in Mount Vernon

There was no line when I went through, yet they still got my order wrong and tried to charge me 50 bucks for 6 regular tacos and 2 small icy's! Yes they fixed the price, but only because I questioned it, but had to have a lead person step in after arguing with the initial worker. There were several people working, almost seemed crowded behind the counter and chaotic. The lead person handed bags to one worker and said "just get it out of here" as if to not care about who or what it is, he didn't care if he just gave it away, just move it along. I could see this happening if they were backed up, but even then I was the only customer. The prices for food everywhere is insanely high, thanks to Biden, but seriously, I still paid 25$ for this meal and it wasn't even great food. The lettuce was either old and or the center of the head which is hard, the tomatoes in which they charge about 2 dollars extra per taco for, are terrible. They ask if u want to double the meat, which is because there isn't much in it to begin with. And the cheese is probably the most expensive ingredient they put on a taco aside from meat, and they barely sprinkle a pinch on them. That's on regular and supreme tacos anyways. And yet the price is as if you went to an actual sit down resteraunt where u get way more for your money these days. I don't know if it's economy, I doubt it, but I do think taco bell has pretty decent food mostly, but they seem so money driven as many people are these days. What happened to making a decent profit while caring for your customers? And stop being so nit picky about extra charges for every...

I’m giving this 4 stars for service because the person helping us was lovely: patient, helpful, and friendly. I would give it a 1-star review for the mandatory screens you have to order on (the one lady staffing the front walked me through the initial start to order and another person right after me through the entire order.) Despite spending significant time to input my order it was still entered incorrectly with extra beans added and an extra beef taco. ALSO, when you order it looks like from the picture the sour cream will be on the side (it’s not) and when you ask for hot sauce at the end it appears it will be added whole in the packet (according to my children it was on their taco-they didn’t like it-and none was in the bag.) I despised the whole process. To use the bathroom I of course had to wait to get the same one person’s attention (who simultaneously has to help the drive through and the customer following me.) Last but definitely not least someone has decided to pull out all of the benches (comfy and cozier) and replace them with uncomfortable seats and high stools and the floor was dirty, the table tops needed wiping and the bathroom had strange pink stuff scattered all over the floor. The music felt like I should be in a club (with my young children) instead of a restaurant. The saving grace was the lovely and personable young lady helping us all (and the fast work of the young men in back getting the food churned out.) The decor was as far from the heritage of tacos as you can get…..cold (black and wait) and unpleasant...

This location has been one of the best fast food experiences I've had, and it was constant throughout my visits. The staff are quick, attentive to details, especially with substitutions or weird add ons, and above all else my food isn't messy in the package, which is a common issue with other Taco Bell location (I won't name names, I'm not a snitch) They have always been incredibly friendly as well, to the point that my partner and I have a few friends there who we love to see and catch on shift. There's so much more, but I don't want to gush more about such an awesome place, with a great crew, it's getting a bit weird. But, to round all of this off, there's something I've been missing in my life, and that's been my crew at the local Taco Bell. I'm so excited to see what the Refresh of the location brings, but I'm also deeply curious (and craving some delicious chicken quesadillas, grilled cheese burritos, and nacho fries) When will we get to see this glorious Refresh? When will it be unveiled so we, the people of Mount Vernon, may enjoy our delicious food and friendly crew of this Taco Bell location? Thank you for your time, seriously y'all...
