Z's Burgers — Restaurant in Mukilteo

I really want to like this place. It's got a cool vibe with the Coca-Cola and airplane theme but the service is piss poor. I come in with 4 year old son and he needs to go potty so we head back to the bathrooms to find they are locked. I go back to the front to get the code and she looks at me for a couple seconds then asks if I'm going to order. All the while my little boy is doing the pee pee dance. I mean are they REALLY that petty that they can't let a little boy use their bathroom even if we aren't ordering?

When we're done in the bathroom we go to order and she just seems like it's inconveniencing her to take our order. After placing my order I stand there expecting to get the beverages I ordered and she says to go sit down. So we wait awhile to get our food with nothing to drink. Finally our drinks come out with our food but she doesn't bring the water I ordered for my son.

I asked for another basket and a knife so I can cut a portion of my burger for my son to eat. She rushes to the kitchen and rather than bringing a plastic basket like what my burger came in she brings a small paper basket and no knife, again acting like I'm too much of an inconvenience for her. When I ask for a knife she just points to some bins hidden behind the condiments.

I wait a couple minutes to see if she'll bring my son's water before going to ask for it. I stand at the counter being ignored for a couple minutes before the man coming asks what I need. I tell him water. She continues putting fries in bags and other things. The man says water 3 times before she finally comes over and puts ice in a cup and fills it 3/4 full and hands it to me with no lid, it was pretty clear this was for my son. Considering how much she clearly made it seem like I was inconveniencing her I didn't bother asking for a lid.

Is a real shame because the burger and fries were actually really good too. Not worth it for the...

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE! You are going to be rudely antagonized the service here is absolutely horrible. Worst I’ve ever experienced in my life. It’s almost as if they are annoyed when someone steps foot in this establishment they should not be open if they do not want to have customers?

I witnessed the most ungodly behavior I’ve ever seen in my life today

I seen the workers yell at a young little boy had to been no older than three for doing what toddlers do and rudely said very vulgar things to the child’s mother. The type of language that came out of this employees mouth was shocking! so shocking that if you said these words, your mother would have washed your mouth out with soap. so use your imagination and choose another restaurant if you do not want to suffer abuse mentally and emotionally. The only thing that was left was physical abuse but I’m sure if this lady stood any longer. It would’ve got to that point.

Horrible they are going to get shut down and I will see to it for discriminating a little three year-old toddler for being a toddler, which is absolutely insane. You’re a burger joint. This isn’t the army. Maybe you need to think about switching your professions absolutely a joke

This restaurant definitly has some personal character to it, and I think that's one thing I really like about it.What first caught my eye were the dozens of model/toy airplanes that they have hanging from the ceiling of the dining area. Being so close to the Boeing plant at Paine Field, the restaurant has decided to go with a Boeing and aviation theme for the menu and much of the interior decor. Many of the items on the menu are titled after Boeing's aircraft (like the 777 burger, which is a massive triple-cheeseburger).I've been a few times, and every time the service has been good and my food was prepared reasonably quick. Their burgers are really good, even if they are a bit greasy. Their onion rings were delicious too. I wouldn't suggest eating here if you're on a diet or trying to avoid fatty foods, but as far as a "burger joint" goes, Z's Burgers is near the top of my list in the Mukilteo area.The restaurant has two large roll-up window/doors that they roll up during the warm summer months. This makes the place feel more open (obviously) and can be fun place to hang out with a group of friends on a summer night.I really suggest that you check this place out, at least once.
