Mac's — Restaurant in Muncie

Absolutely great food for a great price at this spot! Was in Muncie for work and when I drove by the establishment initially I saw they SERVE BREAKFAST FROM OPEN TO CLOSE and that caught my eye. I could eat breakfast any day, any time of day and appreciate that. I stopped in after i finished my job that was in the area and the drive thru was legitimately ALL the way around the building. My truck couldn’t fit thru the drive thru so I came inside for some carry out. The cashier took several orders ahead of me while I looked at the menu and then kind of ignored me for a couple of minutes. When he FINALLY acknowledged me, I ordered a double biscuits and gravy with a side of large tater tots (or the equivalency). After waiting a few minutes, I got my cold tater tots and my absolutely amazing biscuits and gravy for a little over $7. Def a cheap, nice spot to stop by and grab a bite to eat. Many of the ‘specials’ sounded great and I’m sure they are, no doubt. The food was GREAT! Def suggest stopping by if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed! FOOD IS...

I ordered 5 dinners and got home to find the $4 plus dollars I paid for chicken tenders were not in the bag. I called to tell them and the young lady who answered the phone turned to the young lady working the window and asked her if she gave me the tenders. Of course she said yes with the tone of voice she used on her, in fear she was in trouble. The lady on the phone called me a liar and wanted to argue. She then hung up on me. I order from here quit a bit and I have never had any problems. The country fried steak was so over cooked we had to throw it away, you couldn’t even cut it. I normally don’t write bad reviews but the conduct of this employee was that bad. I will follow up with the owner tomorrow. Note: It’s not the $2.89 for the hash rounds, but it is the fact that I paid for a biscuit and gravy meal and took it home to my wife. She put her hash rounds in her biscuit and gravy like always. She proceeded to eat only to find out the biscuit was burnt. I took it back and the manager wouldn’t replace the hash rounds because she said that there wasn’t anything wrong with them. But there was something wrong with them, the hash rounds were in the gravy with the BURNT BISCUIT. She should have given me the hash rounds as well due to the fact that it wasn’t on me that there staff sold me a BURNT BISCUIT that I had to spend time and gas to return the...
